Clark Masters

All week Leroy appears to have been adamant that Masters won't start tomorrow and we will sign a loanee. Anyone ITK got any ideas if this player is going to materialise?!

The Official Site says this man is a product of the successful Youth squad - Throw him in and see what he is made of Leroy. Sink or swim.

They've decided not to have a goalie tomorrow. Just going to play with 11 outfield players!

I would have thought two clubs may help us out, Reading (as they have a lot of our ex's) or Fulham (with Leroy's history) - surely one of those two has a competent spare that will agree to play for us.

I agree, give Masters a chance. If Nelson gets injured during the season or suspended again then he will have to play him so what is the difference cos its the opening day? It cant be filling the bloke with much confidence Leroy keep telling him he isnt ready. When he does eventually play through whatever reason he is gonna have in his mind the manager doesnt think he is ready.

because after a few weeks on the bench he wil be prepared. the last manager had George on the bench for no reason...

How do you prepare by sitting on a bench though? You cant save many shots from there, whenever he starts its gonna be a bit daunting for him and a few nerves but lets have some faith in him.

Fulham have let two keepers go out on loan this week !

Warner & Baptista..........we're too late there.

Reminds me of schooldays. Never stand too close to the goal before a playground game otherwise you'd end up as goalie. Could be a very tight huddle at 2:59 on Saturday. :rolleyes:

ASSISTANCE PLEASE
Just hours to go before the big kick off and an appeal for assistance for volunteers.
The Club require a goalkeeper to assist in saving opposition kicks in our penalty area.
The jobs briefly involves welcoming everybody back, shouting at your defenders, bringing them up to date with whats been happening and putting up with stick from opposition supporters behind you.
The Club are looking for about two volunteers to assist from about 1.30pm until full time (1 person may have to sit on a bench).
If you are able to volunteer your services please email [email protected] with your contact details.

They still have 3 keepers in Niemi , Drogbany (whatever his name is) and mark Crossley.....The latter would do in my opinion

Cudechini isn't getting a game at the moment.

Also, Gallas could fit in our midfield, I think!

Just loans of course and Chelski paying the wages like they did with Joel Kitamirike.
