If he is wrong or on the wrong track then perhaps a BFC or even a BU Director chap could clarify the situation - Assuming that is allowed and not covered by confidentiality.

This is common knowledge as far as I am aware, news of which I was told about a year ago and not from the 'then' acting CEO if that's who you think...

So its ok to get 'inside news' when the club wants me to give advice and look over 'playing kit' contracts but I'm not allowed to hear about anything else in case it offends you?

I think from being in the position of a fanzine editor, I keep stum about nearly everything I am told as the club's interest always come before my ego... perhaps I am doing my readers a bit of a dis-service here, but people who trust me with info (and thats not to say I know much at all) know that its not going to be spread about The Griffin or in print... normally I do the decent thing that if I want to find out something in relation to an article, I ask Directors or staff to get the facts then decide if it is in the best interest for the club for print, and in all cases where I have been told that something is 'in confidence' it is never disclosed on here or any where else...

I don't really feel as if I have to defend myself but get fed up with 'wanna be directors' trying to dis or add fuel to the fire... Once you've donated as much as our publication has then by all means join in the slanging...

I didn't realise that financial contributions to BFC puts you above criticism. I could tot up my own figures but it's irrelevant to the subject we are discussing.

I'm not concerned about your actions but the person that is feeding you this confidential information which is proving very damaging for the club.

She reckons that BFC are right up sh!t street if they don't pull their finger out of their @rses and move to Lionel Road. Simply not viable staying at GP but the finances offered from Mr. Benham would obviously help matters on the pitch.

She also said that Terry Butcher was a useless **** and Andy Scott is a very smart boy.

Maybe it's her who's spilling the beans !!

I can not see anything wrong with Greenholmes Bees post at all.

The fact is that if Paul Grimes left the pub tomorrow - a new landlord would have to be found to see out the lease.

I dont know about any Confidential Finances and can not see that Greenholme has alluded to any in his post, only that rebus has assumed that to be the case.

It is common knowledge that the Princess Royal deal was probably not the best ever for the club, I'm not going to search back through years of GPG postings and programme articles to state what is Public knowledge but I knopw for sure that I have not read anywhere that the problems have indeed been solved or fully turned around and some pf the previous postings have done nothing to support Paul's efforts to do so

I think all this infighting is a clever ploy to keep fans from the club shop debacle or the STRIPES debacle or the no onions/catering debacles.

I used to have some inside leaks at BFC, but they are all now corrupted by BIAS and BU.

I personally think BU should expell Eddie Rogers as he is a well known bubbler.

Exactly - I haven't disclosed anything.

Better go to the Top Man though if you want to find out why he told me what he did... all so that I didn't misrepresent the club in print... I think thats a perfectly good enough reason that I was told about how much sh*t the PR contract has caused Brentford Football Club...

rebus said there was a leak but Greenholme Bee said there wasn't and anyway rebus was more leakier and hadn't raised any money but rebus didn't back down and Greenholme Bee got all upset and said he should and that rebus wanted to be a Director but wasn't and then Greenholme Bee quit the GPG and then ISB said mods are bad and some people agreed and that the GPG wasn't a laugh anymore and nobody knew anybody who liked it anyway.

rebus deleted all of ISBs posts and opened a new thread so that everyone could have a good old argue but then shut it.

Leaking of sensitive information has been a serious problem for a while now and we are not talking transfer tittle-tattle. It has to be tackled. I have already stated by beef is not with Nick but the source itself.

But he didn't disclose any confidential information so what's the problem?

If he disclosed something it was either so well known that it was unworthy of comment or nobody noticed. If you have an issue with past leaks then I'm sure you would have brought it up then but as far as the PR thread was concerned - mountain and molehill are the words that spring to mind.

I am privy as part of my role as BU director. I choose not to tell others as it breaches confidences and may affect commercial projects. It's not about being morally superior but abiding by responsibilities of the post.
