Good move, will give Logan some competition and he's not been up to it recently, so maybe he'll begin to be more of what we expected once pushed.

Logan doesn't need a rest, its basically 1 game a week after Monday.He missed a huge chunk of the season injured and Kev willbe back in a month.hopefully we see 2/3 defenders leave the club soon as otherwise this move is bollox.Utilise the squad Uwe or stick to an 17/18 man squad and fill the rest with loan players

You obviously have little recollection of how long it usually takes Kev to get over injuries.
As for your suggestion that Logan can play every game, well maybe fitness-wise he can but if you look at the level of some of his recent performances nobody sensible could argue that a bit of competition would be a bad thing.
Don't assume that because we have taken a defender on Loan we aren't looking at strenthening other areas. It is December 31st, the transfer window opens exactly when ??

Harlee Dean's loan ends in January, Pim maybe be moved on or loaned out again, Osborne may get the move he's been thinking over and so a player needed to come into the squad. Plus he can play RB and CB. Let's hope there's more in January which whet our appetite.

if your Man Utd or Chelsea or Man City maybe you do but not at our level, not when we have adequate cover already in the squad.It looks like more money up the wall to me, and if Dean is going back then why sign him in the first place? he hardly improved the defence, why not play Eger as he is just as competent.

A comparatively cheap loan I'd suggest. No need for us to cover accommodation costs or travel costs on behalf of the player as he's local! He looked composed when he played earlier on in the season. Inexpensive but quality competition in positions is surely a good thing.

Not a great option. That's why we have signed Bennett.
I would bet that possibly 2 out of Osborne, Dean, Woodman and Pim leave next month so signing Bennett is the right thing to do.

Just we have a squad so why not use it and if Logan gets injured then maybe bring someone in and we have 8 defenders at the club not including youngsters....I see Alex ferguson bloods youngsters when he has an injury crisis and last week played Evra and Carrick at CB and some kid at LB

Another defender, we play the most awful football, the entertainment is crap, 2 of our forward haven't scored from open play this season and we sign a defender. Can somebody please explain the reason behind this. I was willing to give Uwe a chance but after boxing day and today enough is enough.

Maybe Osborne is being sold to fund that elusive striker that you really want, Pim is also on his way out to free a big chunk of wages and Dean could be going back too... thats 3 defenders central going, and were left with whom... Eger and Legge.... no brainer maybe..

The bottom line is Uwe knows what's going on behind the scenes player-wise and we can only guess - and if you're that way inclined rant and moan. I'd prefer to wait and see what develops before passing judgement.

Agreed, was surprised they wanted him back after what I thought was a dodgy first game for the club (despite his goal - what more could we ask for eh
) and haven't been impressed with his return games to be honest. Looked off the pace today, but UR and MW seem to rate him so happy to give him more time
