Dango had time for a touch tbh. Would like to see him bury themKev needed to take a little bit off the cut back for a certain goal.
Harsh. On a plate for me. Any slower and he has to generate all the power, and it stands more chance of being closed down.Kev needed to take a little bit off the cut back for a certain goal.
Far be it for me to criticise after the brilliant work to get in that position of course but felt a rolled ball would have been smacked in from 10 yardsHarsh. On a plate for me. Any slower and he has to generate all the power, and it stands more chance of being closed down.
“Dango, Dango, DangoWhat is the song for Ouattara? Couldn't make it out last week.
Over reacting to being hit in the face, apparently…What on earth was he booked for?
Yep. Referee was awful today I thought.Over reacting to being hit in the face, apparently…
he should, but two forwards means we lose one winger, and it will always be him due to schades imperious ariel ability.42 million player sitting on the bench, such a shame, really think he should start ?
Can only think Pep was quietly pleased Dango was not starting! City back four certainly had an easy first half.he should, but two forwards means we lose one winger, and it will always be him due to schades imperious ariel ability.
Didn’t deserve to have been dropped. Imagine our record signing on the bench. Our front 3 were so effective last week linking so well but we sadly have someone in charge who thinks let’s play 532 and so frigging rigid he didn’t even see to change it around in the 2nd half. But it’s ok we only lost 1-0.Can only think Pep was quietly pleased Dango was not starting! City back four certainly had an easy first half.
Unfortunately Schade does less than 1% of the off the ball / defensive work that Dango does and doesn’t carry it as well. Plus winning a header with nobody around is less useful. Schade needs to up his all round game rather than just the things we know he can do.he should, but two forwards means we lose one winger, and it will always be him due to schades imperious ariel ability.
well in this system, we need someone to flick a header on when we hoof the ball forward….Unfortunately Schade does less than 1% of the off the ball / defensive work that Dango does and doesn’t carry it as well. Moments after Savinho did exactly the same thing but no card for him and no foul given to us. Ref was absolute guff today - so easy swayed by City.Over reacting to being hit in the face, apparently…
We do. I understand the rationale. It’s just that benefit has been coming at a cost. He needs to do better.well in this system, we need someone to flick a header on when we hoof the ball forward….
oh 100%… he just has the profile better suited to that system, but christ he needs to up his game when he plays there… but maybe if we’re not getting the best out of him and Igor, we change the system to suit them… like man unitedWe do. I understand the rationale. It’s just that benefit has been coming at a cost. He needs to do better.

Needs to be given a few games now.
He's direct and dangerous. Creates panic for opposition defenders.
The thing about the decision is he did get hit so the referee must have made a snap medical assessment that it couldn't have hurt.Moments after Savinho did exactly the same thing but no card for him and no foul given to us. Ref was absolute guff today - so easy swayed by City.
It has to be the first time in 59 years of watching football I have seen someone get booked for being hit in the face absolutely crazy decision by a totally one sided refThe thing about the decision is he did get hit so the referee must have made a snap medical assessment that it couldn't have hurt.
Bizarre decision considering speed and distance.
Was he actually hit in the face?It has to be the first time in 59 years of watching football I have seen someone get booked for being hit in the face absolutely crazy decision by a totally one sided ref
I dont, i think we need to play them as a 3.Agreed, we need to shuffle the pack and Schade for Dango is an obvious one. Feels like we are trying to force Schade into form.
They showed this on Refwatch with Dermot Gallagher and unfortunately he didn't get hit in the face - more a push on his shoulder. The thing about the decision is he did get hit so the referee must have made a snap medical assessment that it couldn't have hurt.

Yes he wasWas he actually hit in the face?
I look forward to similar bookings in every game I watch then. They showed this on Refwatch with Dermot Gallagher and unfortunately he didn't get hit in the face - more a push on his shoulder.
It was definite free kick to us but DO overreacted hence the booking for simulation.
They won’t, they he refs in this country are a joke.I look forward to similar bookings in every game I watch then.
Absolute nonsense.Unfortunately Schade does less than 1% of the off the ball / defensive work that Dango does
Don’t shoot the messenger! I thought he’d been hit in the face too but he wasn’t.I look forward to similar bookings in every game I watch then.
It was right in front of me and there was very limited contact and certainly not in face. If it were an opposition player, we’d be screaming cheat!!Don’t shoot the messenger! I thought he’d been hit in the face too but he wasn’t.
It still should have been our free kick.
he’s got a point, not even a dig at schade… I love the bloke- But Dangos workrate is second to none.Absolute nonsense.
Very offensive but ... a total exaggeration for one thing. Less than 1%? Anyway, Schade, like Bryan & W***a before him has learned to put in a defensive shift. Thiago & Toney didn't even have to learn to do it. Kevin didn't have a great game on Sunday, but don't let your prejudiced viewpoint prevent you from talking out of your chuff. You must be blind.

Don’t whine that it’s “very offensive” when your starting gambit was to just post a reply saying “total nonsense”.
I’ve got no idea where you’ve even got this prejudice idea from.
Dango does more defensive work than Schade does and you slinging loads of insults because you’re wrong won’t change that.
I dont, i think we need to play them as a 3.
Looked frightening against Utd.
42 million player sitting on the bench, such a shame, really think he should start ?
Totally agree Magic. Have seen nothing to make me think Kev is a central striker, and I think playing him with Igor in particular (who I'm assuming is the first pick in that two) just doesn't seem to work. For me he starts ahead of Schade in a two.
Agree i dont know why that hasnt happened yet or stay 4231For me he starts ahead of Schade in a two.
Really?? I would love to know where and when you saw thatSchade is very good off the ball, as good as Dango if not better.
The last few games, when an opposition RH defender has possession, instead of charging to close down the player with the ball – making it very easy to pass around him – he positions himself equidistant between the three players (e.g. RB, RCB, Deep midfielder) and that slows any move forward as he’s marking the potential receivers rather than playing himself out of the game, then he moves to press the receiver… if that makes sense.Really?? I would love to know where and when you saw that
I must be tooYou must be blind.
Probably. I also gave people too much credit for being able to understand hyperbole. Obviously it wasn’t literal. That would be…ridiculous.I must be too. IMO, your "less than 1%" comment is utterly ridiculous.
