Probably worth a thread of his own now. He has officially told Everton he wants out. Man Utd also made a gaffe on their FB page earlier, announcing Moyes' arrival, prematurely.

An interesting story I got this morning from a great mate of mine, who is a Chelski season ticket holder. He works as a sub editor for a major tabloid so couldn't make it to SB for the Spurs game due to pressures of Fergie story. He met up with a mate who had been to the game at the hotel where he parks before matches, sitting in the bar his mate says there's David Moyes! My mate then frantically calls the sports editor of his paper who gets a taxi to hotel to get a 25 minute chat with Moyes.
Interesting same editor who is friends with Moyes said that he (Moyes) told Fergie that Rooney will be burnt out by 26........how old is he????????

27. Before Fergie dropped him further back in midfield a couple of months back he had 22 goals in 30 games and hasn't being playing as the main striker now RVP is there. I wish I was that burnt out!

He went way down in my estimation after we'd beaten Everton in the Milk Cup. Moyes describing our supporters as disgraceful. He never mentioned how it was Everton fans who started throwing plastic bottles onto the pitch towards the celebrating Bees fans. Yeah he's a typical Manc alright - a sore loser!!!!! Good riddance to him I'd say.

I doubt it, unless something comes along that he can't refuse. He seems very level headed and committed to us. Like it has been mentioned before, he has had time and backing and maybe wouldn't have as much of either at a bigger club. It also took him a while to get his style across with us with his own players and I am sure he will want to complete the job and get us up.

Don't like them as a club but I do rate AVB. Think they've made some decent signings and could be more of a team without Bale. Plus, the transfer fee of Inifinty Pounds should help them improve further.

At the moment Moyes is giving off the air of a man who seems to be out of his depth and struggling already. It would be very interesting to be a fly on the wall in the dressing room/training ground at the moment.

Moyes is a clone of Fergie, he will follow his pattern of blaming everyone except himself for any perceived failure. He made this suggestion some weeks ago but it is only just been picked up for some reason. He is basically accusing the PL of conspiring against Manu to be successfull which is simply outrageous (although rather funny)......looks to me like the pressure is getting to him already.

Joe Lewis is very, very wealthy, but doesn't flash it around for everyone to see. Spurs are financially okay, its not a bubble that's about to burst.
As for Bale and Real Madrid, it's Zidane who is big on Bale. The chairman's recent remarks might just be a negotiating ploy to try and dampen the price. Spurs are asking for a lot, and I don't think they'll get the young forward as he's very highly rated, could be better than Benzema.

Not sure why many are now slaging off Moyes. Did a very good job at Everton (and allowed Forshaw and Bidwell to come to BFC). He's alright in my book. Wish him well at Man U where he has an unbelievably hard act to follow.

agreed but If spurs lose Bale they got no chance..

Even without Bale they have got a better squad now than they did this time last season, or even this time 3 months ago. Soldado, Capoue, Paulinho and Chadli are quality signings and could all arguably get into Arsenal's team. I think they were going to splash the cash regardless of Bale going or not. I even think if they keep Bale and get another CB and LB in they could have a chance for the title. Also Kaboul and Sandro are back fit now which is like two new signings in itself.

I think Man U will finish top 4 (probably 4th) but it's Arsenal that will really struggle. That club just takes the p*ss out of their fans in every department.

Never thought highly of Moyes since he deflected the publicity of his humbling defeat at GP by a non story about a plastic bottle. Showed a lack of class IMHO and a bad loser.

Spot on. What he's said about fixture pile up is no different to any other manager starting mind games.

I like Moyes, aside from the cup game post-match incident vs Everton.
