Made an error, all keepers make howlers at times (Think Daniel Bentley) made up for it later on, already saved us points this season by instilling confidence in the defence, not even worth bothering about, move on.

I think the wind was having an impact on this today, watching the sprinklers there were some gusts blowing. Probably also a bit of a confidence thing when your kicks aren't hitting the target doubt can creep in and you start to rush it hence some of the daisy cutters.

trying to go long today in a strong wind. Difficult to be that accurate. Thought he was much better second half with the wind behind him.

Thats just co-incidence, he barely makes any mistakes all game and his distribution is amazing.

He was pushed last night in the shoulder for the goal which stopped him punching with both hands.

Two of the last three goals against him can be put down to little pushes and touches that were not classified as fouls. Just enough to put him off. They are in no way dangerous, but they are clearly effective.

Last night it was a two handed push in the back. Enough to put him off his alignment for his punched clearance.

Refs normally watch for that sort of thing but last night's........................didn't!!!! No surprise there then.

If you watch it back the push was a factor but also not helped by 2 of our own players backing into him . Ollie was one I think .

First half at a corner one of their centre backs kept messing with Raya to the point where he pulled a Velcro closer of one of Raya’s gloves open. I kid you not. And the push in his back for their goal is pretty clear on the highlights. He may make a mistake like that at Hull but he doesn’t seem to get a great deal of protection at corners.

No, what would be cheeky would be tying both sets of laces together. Having said that, thinking about some "defenders" of ours in the past someone may have succeeded in doing this

Twenty players in the box. Ref has two eyes which tend to coordinate on one point. Do the math. Overall, ref had an excellent game. Managed players in a high profile game without resorting to cards where others might have. Pretty sure we will see him as a premier league referee sooner rather than later. Best I have seen at GP this season

I actually agree with all that, apart from the word "math".

Musty admit, I thought he was OK too.

Not sure VAR would have ruled the goal out. The Leeds guy did have both hands on Raya's back, but it didn't look a shove - more 'protecting his space' from Raya moving backwards. I'd say 40-50% chance of VAR ruling it out

Agree. If we think we lost out to a bad decision over the course of the 90 minutes, I think were being a little delusional.

He’s been the worst ref I’ve seen all season but he was ok on Tuesday.

Dropped another cross that someone at this level should comfortably be catching. Very fortunate it didn't drop to a Birmingham player.

Did brilliantly today in near impossible conditions. Never stopped being positive and coming for the ball.

Exactly, and this applies to all players today. Very different in the stand to how it would have been out on the pitch. Raya was nearly caught out early on by a freaky high bounce in the wind. He dealt admirably with crosses, given the conditions.

it was a little wet and windy out there.. !

By the way, I responded to your comments re Jensen in a rational way but haven't had a reply yet.. :sorted:

He dropped it because he clattered into Pinnock. Didn't seem related to the wind.
