Do We Need Another Forward??

Fair dos mate, you saw a lot more of him than me.
I just can't believe we'd compromise on our vision when we're doing getting the results we are, playing the very best style and standard of football I've ever seen at GP.
If we were struggling and we had to get points to survive I'd take John Beck Cambridge stylee aerial assaults to achieve results.

Signing him as an impact sub or last ditch throw of the dice to get back in a game maybe if he's improved otherwise it's a no from me.

If he's got any sense, a move to Bristol City would be perfect for him.

A top Championship club needs to seek out better.

It must be priority as Andre looks worn out which is quite understandable. It's great that he has come this far without any injuries, but come on the guy needs a rest.

Good player but not sure he has the work ethic for the lone striker role.

Whoever we sign must be quick, prepared to work his socks off, be prepared to be part of the squad and squad rotation.

We need I think to go for exactly the same type of player as Andre ie: someone who is on the way up and not on the way down. However I would make an exception for Defoe. lol

As this seems under discussion within a few different threads I wondered if the question was worth a thread of its own??.............. (Mods feel free to close if considered a duplicate)

Despite playing what I reckon 95% of us on here believe to be some great stuff so far this year, a return of 4 League goals from 12 League games from our strike-force means that we haven't necessarily got the rewards we perhaps deserved in a number of games this season.

Whilst understanding that this is for a variety of reasons (Scott Hogan's long-term injury not being the least), the fact that MW doesn't seem to think Betty is ready yet, Tommy Smith is also injured, NP hasn't been banging them in and despite an encouraging start in terms of performance by Andre Gray, he's only got a couple too, suggests to me that we should (and maybe are) look elsewhere.............

Or is the return from our midfield enough to make up the deficit??............

There is no point in bemoaning what could have been (it's easy to find fault retrospectively), but every reason to look forward to exciting times ahead.
