Some basic rules of the game you'll need to know
The Team Roster
A team roster consists of 11 starting players and 5 bench players. The starting team consists of one, and only one, Goalkeeper, three Defenders, three Midfielders, two Forwards, and any two other field players.
Free Agents and Trading
You can trade a player on your roster for any player not currently owned by another team in your league. This is wide open before the season starts and during the opening and January transfer windows, and then becomes limited to one trade a week for the rest of the season. Movement between your starting 11 and your bench is unlimited.
The Game Week
A Game Week is any week in which one or more matches are played. It starts Saturday morning and ends Friday night. Therefore, a team with a Saturday afternoon match and then a Tuesday evening match will provide their players with 2 opportunities to score points. Both matches count and are added together.
Scoring
Currently, scoring is the same as pretty much every other fantasy EPL site. Players earn (or lose) points based on the following actions:

6 For each goal scored by a goalkeeper or defender
5 For each goal scored by a midfielder
4 For each goal scored by a forward
3 For each goal assist
4 For a clean sheet by a goalkeeper or defender
1 For a clean sheet by a midfielder
1 For every 3 shot saves by a goalkeeper
5 For each penalty save
-2 For each penalty miss
1-3 Bonus points for the best players in a match
-1 For every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender
-1 For each yellow card
-3 For each red card
-2 For each own goal
