If my first eleven draft picks were all strikers, and I got them all, what would happen? Does it fill x number of striker spots and then move on to the next position, or would I have to trade 9 of them for free agents?

You could have 3 strikers in your team and 5 on the bench

You would have to trade 3 of them, or play with 8 players

Premier League Fantasy Competition, Instructions

Entry is free.

1) Please send me a list of 60 premier league players in order of preference for the draft pick.

E-mail to [email protected]

Your final squad of 16 players must include at least 1 gk, 3 def, 3 mid, 2 forwards.

1st player on your list is your number 1 pick etc

Give your team a name - Teams will be drawn out of a hat and given a number 1 to 12 (for a 12 team league)

1st team out of hat gets their 1st draft choice. 2nd team will get their first draft choice, unless 1st team already has that player, in which case they will get their 2nd choice.
In second round of draft, Team 12 gets 1st draft choice (if player still available), team 11 gets the next choice etc.
The draft pick goes on until all teams have their 16 squad players

Their will be free agents on the draftepl.com website.
http://draftepl.com/

Transfers are free before the start of the season.
During the season, teams are allowed 1 transfer per week.

Draw date will be Saturday 1st August. I will get this witnessed and be hopefully providing on line commentary
Squad Lists must be with me by midnight on Friday 31st July

Any questions on this thread please !

Just need another 7 to make this work well

Just thought I would mention there's a new draft FF website been set up, similar format but allows you to do a 'live' draft with everyone participating:

It also allows inter-team trades and has a free agent waiver wire, in fact it's the same as the American fantasy football really
