Then ban mobile phones?Got to protect the PL's image rights at ALL COSTS!

Troy Parrott ?Who wants to watch a game from a birds eye view too lol
Exactly. It's all b***ocks. Then ban mobile phones?
I get your cynicism but I do think they took it seriously. After all you could have watched the game today on about 20 different illegal feeds.Got to protect the PL's image rights at ALL COSTS!
Yeah, and then there's the helicopters!I get your cynicism but I do think they took it seriously. After all you could have watched the game today on about 20 different illegal feeds.
Was it used?I saw it. Looked like a pink condom attached to tiny parachute.
Nah, a 12-bore would do the trick. We need a kestrel

They were there on the roof for England v Wales in the 2016 Euros!i think it is unlikely we will be allowed snipers on the roof

They would almost certainly have been airborne already and probably fancied coming over to have a look as something to doWhile it all seemed totally random I suspect the police took this rather seriously, given the fact that they clearly scrambled a police helicopter which hovered over the stadium…. That would not have been cheap!
? Bloody hell my eyesight ain't that good. Seems my mother was right. Was it used?
Durex?
Mates?
I am a fully-qualified commercial drone pilot and have to know these things. Do keep up.
Well the fact that there was a year long weekly updates of drone views of the new stadium would have been a clue. You really should have just left it at this. The last three words were really unnecessary like me or whomever would give a sh*t.

Obviously you are "new Brentford"
? Nice one!Can you locate where on this site you have ever stated you are a commercial drone pilot? If not then pipe down.
? Nice one!
Tbf none of the helicopters were directly over the stadium. It’s very frequent to see helicopters following the Thames (they’re meant to!)Yeah, and then there's the helicopters!
If you look at the airspace rules covering the distance the drone was from Heathrow and the designated runway final approach routes you will find Banana is correctHow do you know? Just asking
They certainly were and the H10 Heliroute goes directly over the site.Tbf none of the helicopters were directly over the stadium. It’s very frequent to see helicopters following the Thames (they’re meant to!)
I think it’s almost certainly for the reason you gave, but also, if they just let it happen, you’d soon be inundated with loads of drones.
While annoying, it’s the best course of action to take a no tolerance policy to it.

From my angle certainly didn’t look like there were any helicopters directly over the stadium at any point. They certainly were and the H10 Heliroute goes directly over the site.
Damn I should have googled that. Thanks but I don't have the time for that. I do have a 'life'. But I am happy you and @Banana to a lesser degree clarify and educate me something I didn't know when I woke up this morning. I feel I have learned something for that I am grateful but it won't help me pass my aviation degree I should have taken 25 years ago. Damn.
When can I make a witty comment about you drone-ing on ?
Is it now ??
I wasn't asking you. ?Do it anytime you like - why do you need permission from me?![]()
I saw that. There seemed to be a red light hovering in the sky around the area it dropped fromWhere did the pink parachute that dropped near the centre of the pitch come from![]()
Ribbed?? Bloody hell my eyesight ain't that good. Seems my mother was right.
I know the rules because I have Private Pilots License (since 2007) and not because I “Googled” it - I have a very pleasant and very comfortable life - Thank you for asking.Damn I should have googled that. Everyone's just droning on these days ?We're arguing about Aviation laws now! I can't decide whether that's a new high or a new low.
You said “I have a life” - which insinuates that maybe i do not. You can carry on being obtuse if you wish.I am glad you know the rules. I didn't ask if you have 'a pleasant and very comfortable life' but hooray for you if you do. And no not need to thank me for asking for something I didn't erm ask.
They do. Or should have.Perhaps drones should have to have number plates so owners can be identified![]()
