First time I have ever known Sky not to show a replay due to the nature of the injury. Pray he makes a full recovery.

Whilst not wishing an injury like that on anyone, there seems a slight bit of irony there that that is exactly what Eboue etc were trying to do to Nani last week.

In this day and age could Eduardo have grounds to sue Taylor for that challenge?

Sadly, the way of the world today. I'm not sure if people remember that people have always got injured. It's a fast, impact sport - these kind of things are going to occur. I would bet my life on Taylor not meaning to do this - he was outwitted and clumsy but his life will now be made a misery - Wenger's comments are an absolute disgrace imo.

hmm, not sure i agree Les, but Steve Bruce's comments surely are a bit unneccesary!

1) who the hell cares about crappy online petitions?? has one EVER been effective???

2) if the FA DID act on the basis of said crappy online petition, then it'd be a free-for-all. for example, we should petition the FA that QPR be removed from the League on the basis that they're inbred retard scum. I'm sure thousands, nay millions, would sign on that notion....
Ahem my point is, if the FA made decisions like this on this basis, it'd be a farce.

They'll deal with Taylor, purely from the media backlash. What do we think? 6-game ban?

I think that's it in a nutsell. Bad but not malicious. Apparently he should never play football again - by that token, Patrick Viera should have retired by the time he was 25.

Amazing that Arsene Wenger actually saw it this time, and quite clearly too, to give an over the top opinion of Matt Taylor. Tackles like that have been going on for ages, some are lucky and nothing happens but then some are like this. sh*te happens. Will he ask for Gallas and Hoyte to be banned as well for deliberatly trying to chop off Nani's legs last week? No of course not. Plank.

If he's feeling sorry for himself they should cart him off to Hillingdon hospital. When he wakes to find they've plastered the wrong fcking leg then he can have a moan. Then and only then.....
