Emma Raducanu
I think there's a huge difference between someone changing national allegiance as an adult, and Raducanu, who has been in the UK since pre-school. I assume she is first-language English, and has never lived in China or Romania - so surely wouldn't represent either of those countries - and can you say she is Canadian, having lived there for two years as a baby that she presumably can't remember? Is Bradley Wiggins Belgian? This so happens to be tennis thread but it is not limited to female tennis players - was Tony Cascarino Irish because he represented Ireland despite not being eligible? Greg Rusedski British despite representing Canada until he was 22? Sorry but I would always prefer anybody representing England/Britain to have been born here versus someone that was born elsewhere and then represents us later in life - genuinely don't see why that is an issue.
