Fabrice Muamba

[GP200]

best moment would be a Bolton win... losing 1-0

..............now 1-1.............

now 1-3

It's not been Bolton's season sadly. Horrendous luck with injuries

That and not being very good.

Fabrice Muamba retires from football...

[Boscombe Bee]

Good luck to the lad. I can imagine him having an ambassadorial role working with kids or people with disabilities getting involved with football.

Fab is proof to the press that there are nice guys playing football too.

[Simon T]

I get the impression that unlike many footballers he has the intelligence & attitude to be successful at whatever career he chooses in the future.

[Owlsmoor_Bee]

Desperately sad news for him. To return to playing football professionally after a health scare like that was a very tough ask.

Exactly. He's a very lucky boy to still be here.

Totally admire his spirit, but time to count your lucky stars and let go Fabrice. I would imagine the odds of a Gary Glitter comeback are slightly shorter.

No chance as it would ruin him financially and delay his impending sainthood.

[TW3Bee]

Sure he could stay in the game as a coach or something.

[hanworthbee]

He could also think about getting a normal job like everyone else

Fabrice Muamba is to guest star on a Christmas edition of Strictly Come Dancing, nine months after he suffered a cardiac arrest during an FA Cup tie.

Good for him surely?

[absenteebee]

Good for him surely?

Yeah but you know what the BBC are secretly hoping

[bees66]

he's just confirmed that he will never play football for a living again..
