Reportedly selling Evander to the Portland Timbers for $10m (I refuse to convert this to £ bc an American team signed him ??). That’s a massive fee for an MLS team, one of the biggest in the history of the league.

What happens if both ourselves & FCM qualify for the same European competition?
The rules aren’t very clear but appear to state that two clubs owned by the same person cannot compete in the same cup.

Benham has sold much of his shareholding in FCM already.

I get the feeling he will sell his remaining stake at some point, with this being accelerated if is required by UEFA rules.

I don't think they are owned by MB anymore, although I think he still has a share so not sure what effect that has.

Perhaps Anders Povlsen will be offered more shares so that MB is not the majority shareholder?

I was thinking about that this week. UEFA clearly doesn’t care if Salzburg/Leipzig can do it and potentially PSG/ManU. They just do some legal paperwork that shows no common entity owns both clubs. Perhaps that’s too much of a hassle for MB and he divests from FCM but I can’t imagine he’d be stopped if he wanted to keep both. Maybe UEFA would try to make an example of him since he’s a minnow compared to RB or Qatar. I don’t know

The latest I could find online was Benham sold 25% so he remains the majority shareholder.

The bid tabled for Manchester United is from Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, who is the uncle of the Emir, Tamim ben Hamad Al Thani who owns PSG. Ownership would not be the same legal entity.

Out of curiosity, I thought i'd have a look at where they are in the league table...

After the top two sides in the Danish Superliga, they've lost the fewest games this season of the remaining teams. They also have drawn more games then any other club in the league.

Sounds a bit familiar...

Does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to get tickets for FCM home games? I may be in the area at the beginning of June and I see that their final game of the season is when I'm there. I tried to see if they sell out but I couldn't see an attendance in their match report from the latest game, although it is very impressive with inbuilt Opta stats.

Sure the commentator said 'cup of tea' as FCM walked out of the tunnel on 13 secs.

(Important result for them given their model of player recruitment and development needs the greater European stage for eventual player trading)

I was out there for their final match of the regular season against Odense, was a great atmosphere although I didn't see much of the game ?- if you get a chance to go out there for a game definitely take it.

I see Spurs are rumoured to be in talks with them over the transfer of RW forward Gustav Isaksen.

Never seen his name crop up on here but evidently he's a 22 yr old left footed wide forward.

Even a draw for Brondby would have been good enough (on GD). They lost to Uwe Rosler's AGF, whose post-split form has been otherwise pretty dreadful.

And the difference is huge: FCM go into the Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round, while Brondby only get into the Conference League 2nd Qualifying Round.

You sure? I think they'e both played over 30 games. Dalsgaard a Championship winning captain now as well.
