You may not have heard but they are another club owned by the same chap who owns the Bees. In fact there is quite a bit of shared resourcing between the clubs, both in the backroom and in terms of loaning players, in particular between the development squads. I hope that may have helped to answer your question as to why a fellow supporter might show an interest in them?

I think that fellow supporter may just be a tad frustrated that FCM are performing somewhat better than the team he supports. Understandable I'd say.

I know all that. Does their performance have any bearing on BFC?

In fairness SB this thread is under the Other Football forum ("All other football - International, EPF, EFL, Non-League, Women. All non-Brentford, all here") so does not really claim to have any bearing on BFC.

I think the ownership and close ties to the club has provoked an interest by many people on here and that is why this long running thread exists. I appreciate there are many on here that could not care less and therefore there is no intention to force people to read up.

Fair enough

Good for you. Hope the match was better than the Bees on Saturday though....

Mr B called it, atmosphere was the main (only) plus point! Over here with work at the moment and it was an enjoyable few hours in the Sunday sunshine.

Been trying to get to an FCM game for a few years now, my son has been studying and working there for 6 years but my visits have never fully worked out with getting a game in, he's coming back to the UK this summer, so hope to get to the game v Lyngby on the 16/2/20. Any tips on getting tickets and where in the ground from anyone who's been?

Drop Ras or Cliff an email. I'm sure they'd help.

10 points clear at the top after tonight's victory, although they have played one game more.

FCM are into the last 8 of the UEFA Youth League, due to play Ajax. That's a pretty remarkable achievement when you think about it.

I do believe that their youth team players are over for the Sheffield Wed game this Saturday. Playing themselves in the morning then on to the game.

sounds like a win-win situation :)

FC Midtjylland

I wonder if they'll go to Amsterdam now given one of the Brondby players contracted CV in Amsterdam last weekend and as a consequence 3/4 of their squad in Denmark are now in self-isolation.

FC Midtjylland

2-0 win at Randers tonight and now 12 points clear of FC Copenhagen.

FCM seem to have conceded only 13 goals in 24 matches. Remarkable.

Does anyone know when their season ends? With only 14 teams in the league, you would imagine that there are only two games to go, but that seems premature.

I think their league splits, like in Scotland, so they must play each other twice then the top half play each other again.

Yes - It's the top 6 / bottom 8. Now they have 2 matches in the regular season to play and then 10 matches in the Championship Round with all points carried forward. Still only one Champions League place next season, but two the following season.

Not quite sure what your comments mean Mr Tree or why you felt the need to make them but the point was that the Midtjylland youngsters trained first with trainers from our community trust at Isleworth goals then like we all did after training made up teams among themselves and played a game. Then on to match to watch the super Bees win 5 nil.

You said they were playing themselves - in which case, they were likely to come out on top, hence commenting that it was a "win-win situation". It was a gentle attempt at humour. Lighten up.

We tried it's out 3 years ago. I think it was one of those one offs.

FC Midtjylland

First game back scheduled for 1st June.....
Looks like "drive in viewing" is happening according to their O.S.:

"On Monday, June 1st, we have the world premiere of drive-in football around the MCH Arena as we host AC Horsens. Today, our season ticket holders can book a seat for free."

Earlier reports also stated:

"The 2020/21 season would kick off in early September with fans able to attend games, as the government has announced."
