well it would appear from Markbfc post on another thread that both BB and DH were at the BU Board meeting tonight.
It would also appear that BChap knows DH but does not like BB.
Both BB and DH would of course be in the know as to where the process is at present and it would appear that both are leaking info into their respective camps. There is a few drinks taken, and a few posts made with bravado and a bit of posturing, The "I know something you lot dont stakes" gets under way once more and Natasha (poor girl lol ) is charged with increasing membership of BUnited.
Well when things like this happen I just want to puke and it makes me and the group of people I knock round with realise that we are right to abstain from BU at present!!

My apologies to both but I assumed fund raising included increasing membership.Either way it is going to be difficult enough if you only have the current membership numbers, with Allison efforts being hampered by many like me who just dont believe in the leadership of Bees United..(the philosophy yes but not the leadership).
Dont lose sight of the point to have a pop at me for a typing error.
Their was a BU meeting last night and within an hour we have people posting assertions that they know what is going on and others dont.
It is Sooooo bloody childish!!! IMHO

The point is my ego does not need stroking either by someone at BFC who I barely know or by holding a position within BU.
It was late last night, there was posturing from Brickie Chap, who was rightly challenged by West Ealing Bee, Banana gave the impression he was in the same "I know something" brigade as Brickie Chap and royal oak bee got his DH's and his "nice girls" mixed up mixed up.

None of which would have happened if the five names had not first been posted and the subsequent knowledge of the other four in the frame had not been "bragged about".

All of which IMHO led back to people friendly with or connected to BU/BFC board members and staff who have leaked info "to their mates".

I wasn't having a pop at you, simply suggesting that you'd made a mistake - there is a difference, if you aren't too touchy.

I still think you should join BU and if you don't like the leadership, get involved in trying to change it. It's the only game in town.

And for what it's worth on a purely personal level I hope they give it to Fitzgerald - after all why throw more money at an appointment who could POSSIBLY keep us up when it's money that could be used to bring in a couple of decent players who would DEFINITELY keep us up if we show the same passion as Saturday.

Why would you expect BFC to save monies if Fitz is appointed. Presumably he would be paid the budgeted salary for the Team Manager anyway, bring in his own coach against the budget and then BFC would go out and find a new Youth manager.

I'm sorry but I don't follow your "save monies by appointing Fitz and spend it on players" argument.
