Actually shocked how badly they are playing against Huddersfield. I thought they were decent going forward and weak at the back but they've been awful everywhere. Surely they can't keep Jokanavic.

Udders aren't much better either. Can see us reaquainting ourselves with both of them next season unless of course we bypass them.

Pritchard growing in confidence and involvement as the half wore on. Doesn't look quite the player he was with us that season, but he does look quite dangerous and has been very energetic. Fulham woefully unadventurous.

Fulham thread

Would fancy our chances against either team, Fulham have gone backwards with their new signings and Udders have gone all direct, I can see why they have hardly scored a goal all season.

Udders would absolutely batter us. They are an incredibly physical team and their work rate is immense.

Sadly I think they Will do better than Cardiff and survive

We need to draw a line under the last few seasons and forget about Fulham till we get the opportunity to meet them again, we have more imoportant things on the agenda.

Think they will be fine next season.

This does make us seem a bit...obsessed, as mentioned above. If it was started during the season when they were low down that would have been okay...in May is a bit cringy.

That said, I expect them to stay up. They'll keep their best players, and their brand of football will go well IMO.

Where are the doubters now

Fulham thread

How may of that team got them promoted. Its strange as they should have gone up with the bounce and confidence that Hudders had last season which should get you off to a good start.

Has the spending spree upset some players?

Not looking good for them.

I think it’s sad we’re revelling in another clubs misfortunes, hell no it’s great. What does £100M get you?
Bottom by Bonfire night lol lol lol

Next fixtures:
Liverpool a
Southampton h
Chelsea a
Leicester h
Man U a

Must admit I'm surprised how badly they are doing. They were more than half decent last season. Yet despite spending £100m on some very decent players they look as bad as thet did when conceding three goals in the first 15/20 minutes at Griffin Park a few seasons back. They aew currently on course to shipping 100 goals this season. One or two more performances like yesterday will surely see the end of the manager.

Fulham thread

Can’t help but wonder what our DoF’s might achieve with a similar kitty to Fulham’s!!!!!

Fulham thread

I still see them staying up...they're only a win away from 15th potentially (although I'm aware who they have next). I just think that Hudders, Cardiff and Newcastle are all significantly worse than Fulham. They're more in a bad run than anything else IMO.

I read a Tweet yesterday that said 'Fulham really are going to complete one of the most inexcusable relegations of all time' and it would be hard to argue with if it does happen!

Would you want Brentford to go up ??
Collect money but have a humiliation on the pitch??

I am more than happy with the Championship

Fulham have blown all their tv money and look at them now

Of course I want us to go up. If you lack ambition then the eventual destination is down. Standing still is never an option. There’s also a strong argument for saying that financially it’s a necessity at least for a season or two.
Just because Fulham are where they are ?? it doesn’t mean that we would follow suit. The model is totally different.
You never know we might just have an outside chance of singing my favourite song again!

You don't mean - Bees up Fulham down - by any chance?

Fantastic support by the Huddersfield fans last night.

As much as I dislike them, they did get behind their team.

To be fair to putney, i was quite surprised by how many they had up there. Looked like possibly 1k.

Fulham thread

Why have three coaches left Fulham this season?

Fulham thread

The resident Aussie Putney supporter at work informed me today their season was over.

I told him it couldn't be over they have a relegation battle to fight :d:

Unless they have thrown the towel in already of course........

Thoroughly enjoying Fulham’s season. Blown the money on a bunch of spineless chancers and now have a destabilised squad with a manager who seemingly is out of his depth. It’s probably too much to hope that a Derby points tally is going to be repeated but nevertheless, highly amusing.

Genuinely shocked by Fulham this season... spent money and had some top players last season... loving every second though

Spoke to a female FFC fan this evening (in her late 30s?) who said how much they (many FFC fans) hate the premier league and would rather be in the championship.

Funny after Wembley they were saying how glad they were Maupay scored as it gave them that Wembley day. Seems like they use what ever suits them to hide how much they are really hurting.

Fulham thread

They did sign some decent players, but it's the ones that starred for them last season, that have been a disappointment.

To be fair, if Brentford won the Premier League playoff final it would be the highlight of my football supporting life. Regardless of how we subsequently fared in the PL, it would be a fantastic way to get promoted to the top league.

I'd rather do it by winning the Championship. But it would be a more enjoyable way to do it than by finishing second. But only once it had actually happened.

Fulham thread

lol he won the premier league at 5000/1 what must a man do to be a good manager ?!

Fulham thread

Will Khan be willing to part with another £100m?

He pretty much kept with Nigel Pearson squad that just missed relegation and won the league. Will they need to spend £100m more?

Not sure this increases their chances of staying up - they'd have probably been better off with Big Sam.

Friend of mine is a Leicester fan - he gives Pearson equal credit with Ranieri for the perfect storm of 2015/16 - Ranieri was smart to keep a winning team and style from their great escape. Did very well to keep it going all season but once he tried to impose his own style and sign his own players the following year it was a disaster. Every single player signed in the summer of 2016 (their one-off time to attract players to play for the champions) was gone within 18 months / 2 years.

I'd compare his times at Chelsea and Leicester with Avram Grant - pretty good keeping a decent team going (Chelsea) but not cut out for motivational survivor football (Portsmouth and West Ham). Also he's 67 - how does that fit with the idea of a long-term project??

BTW I wish he hadn't gone there as he seems a lovely bloke and don't want to hold a grudge against him
