Redknapp is a scumbag and epitimises every thing that is wrong with football today :mad1: .He has no loyalty and is decision is just motivated by money.

Re: Harry's Back at????

How about a conspiracy theory.

Pompey hate Soton and vice versa. Harry and Milan have a row just for the media because Milan wants Pompey to be the only Premiership side on the south coast. Harry leaves having saved Pompey from relegation. Mr Lowe comes along and thinks it will be a bit of a kick in the nuts for Pompey if Soton take Harry on , so he does.Harry then takes them down and ruins them, then kisses and makes up with his old mate Milan, leaving My Lowe tucked up like a kipper.

There was some graffitti outside the Portsmouth ground...

"Welcome back agent Harry, mission accomplished!"

too f***ing right sir - i can't stand the man :mad2:

the conspiracy theory is too elaborate for me... in the "milan vs harry" argument, i went for Milan cos he seemed a decent chap, but the recent shenanigans have led me to believe they're both scumbags and, while i have muchos respect for Pompey and their fans, those two fully deserve relegation

Re: Harry's Back at????

Same fans who threw a chair at poor nocoat while he was minding his own in the Euston Flyer?

Re: Harry's Back at????

they seem like "real" footy fans (as opposed to most of the rest of the Prem), tho obviously they have their troublemakers....

Davis, Paramot and Mendes frm Spurs today. Combined £7 million.

Whose next?

Harry Redknapp

Good to see Redknapp getting his just deserts at the weekend against a dreadful Brum side lol

Harry Redknapp

I had no idea 'Arry ever played for us. What happened in 1976, he only played one game?

Harry Redknapp

38 minutes at Aldershot. Not even a mention in his autobiography.

But he does tell a good story about his brief stay - he'd just been signed on a trial basis by John Docherty and he was playing in an afternoon reserve game at Griffin Park. It was during the same match that John Docherty was summoned to a board meeting and ultimately resigned when the chairman refused to deny comments that he had supposedly made. At half-time, the players were told that Docherty had just been sacked and Redknapp said he thought "But I've only played 45 minutes, surely I can't have been that bad?!"

I read that somewhere, can't recall where now!!

Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp

Seem to recall he got stretchered off with a broken leg before half time....?

'he limped off with a leg injury' from reports i've just read.

Harry Redknapp

Was he on loan? Did we release him?

more likely 'on trial', that game v Aldershot was his last one in England until he went to Bournemouth in 1979. He had a poor playing record anyway, only 250 odd games in 12 years.

Harry Redknapp

I don't think the injury could have been too serious - he played two more reserve games (and scored a goal!) in the following couple of weeks.

I think he was released by Bill Dodgin at the end of a one-month trial.

Harry Redknapp

.................well played Harry............................big club my arse.....................

Hello - can anyone help with a bit of knowledge... who was the caretaker manager at Brentford in 1976 and why did Harry Redknapp play one game for Brentford?? I have been asked by a mate's dad. Thanks in advance! :)

Harry Redknapp

John docherty/Bill Dodgin Jnr, and Tax purposes Probably

Harry Redknapp

................Harry got good odds at the bookies for the one game..................

Harry Redknapp

Eddie Lyons was in temporary charge after John Docherty resigned.

He played 38 minutes before he got injured and was replaced by Paul Walker.

Redknapp was signed by John Docherty on a month's trial, played a couple of reserve games and then Docherty was sacked. By the time Bill Dodgin had been appointed as manager, Redknapp had got injured in his only first-team game at Aldershot - and Dodgin released him! I think he went to play in the USA.
