Yeah, you'll be the exception I reckon. Worked his backside off all night, made a nuisance of himself and won his battles. He's top drawer

I actually said to my sons at one point that Igor was winning those fouls that Toney used to win for us as the out ball, relieving a bit of pressure when we were under the cosh. There were at least two really crucial ones where he shielded the ball and drew the foul.

He works so, so hard and I personally just can't help but love this man.

Think I've said it previously, and probably spoilt by what's gone before for us over the past few years, but really not convinced about Igor on penalties.
Was hoping Damsgaard was gonna step up last night............

As a counter to my own "criticism" above, deserves credit for the "pre-assist" pass to Damsgaard (and fair play to fatty Hooper for allowing himself to be nut-megged by it!!) for our 2nd goal. (y)

Same here. They've both gone in which is all that matters but they don't fill me with confidence!

He’s got the bonus of more pace than Ivan but we’ve not yet seen as much nous or technique. There were glimpses of the nous yesterday in his ability to win pressure relieving free kicks. Early days yet but I reckon he will eclipse Toney.

He’s got time on his side. Toney was still in L1 at Igor’s age and Igor’s PL scoring rate this season is higher than Toney’s best PL season.

I also don't think that there's any fear of the player trying to push his way out, regardless of what kind of offer comes in. Especially after him hugging Andrews after that recent goal... but he even had a Brentford-themed birthday party in Brazil this past summer. The club has clearly given him a tremendous amount of support and he's 100% on board.

Of course any team can buy him... but they won't like the price.

And we cannot sell another striker without a replacement in house already.

I reckon Igor appreciates how well looked after he was by club and fans during his injury and setbacks, and - my impression of him based on nothing more than how he comes across - is he is the kind of guy who might want to repay that. Just can't see him going anywhere unless a stupid amount of money that we can't turn down, and we don't need to sell anyone after the Summer.

There is no way on God’s green Earth that he will be sold in January. Not a chance. Nil, none, nada.
Please can we stop. Nobody is offering £100 million odd for him. It would be a cold day in Hell before that happens.
Just everybody stop.

Hmm well we might be able to fleece Newcastle again... joking aside, he is not leaving 6 months into his first full season with us no matter what is offered in Jan.

We are not desperate for cash and we don't have another number 9 on the books as it stands or one that I would trust to lead the line for half a season if needed.
