Will we have Brazil flags and samba beats in the West Stand?

I very much doubt we’d of gone to the extreme of having him over for a medical and negotiating an acceptable transfer fee in order to provide a smokescreen. The Nusa thread has been closed.
With Brentford’s reputation in the transfer market, I do wonder, perhaps naively if the whole Nusa thing was a smokescreen to throw other clubs off the scent. I guess we’ll find out in four or five months.
When you think about it we are unique in how things are done. Is there another club in the world where the owner has some fun posting cryptic clues on a fans forum prior to making a new signing? We've just increased the record for the Belgian Pro League transfer fee and there isn't a person in the world that knew about it barring ours and Club Brugge's management teams plus the players agents and friends/family. That's mad! The biggest ever transfer fee in Belgium and no one knew about it.When this transfer came completely out of the blue, this post popped up from the recesses of my mind (thank you gpg search tool). Worth bearing in mind next transfer window when people start getting nervous they don't hear Fabrizio and co chatting about Brentford transfer targets!

Obviously not if you have read the articles in this thread, not connected in any way, we have been tracking IT for some time. 2 separate situations, they just happen to play for the same club. The Nusa thread has been closed.

Booked a weekend away from 8th March and have two tickets for Club Brugge v Oh Leuven on Sunday 10th March. Lets hope Igor and Nusa both play. I have to say that Club Brugge make it very easy to buy tickets for games, especially considering it's their final home game before the play offs. You have to set up a ticketing account for each person but it's free and the tickets are 30 euros pp.It’s a cracking place for a weekend away. Excellent bars, good food, friendly people and lots of touristy stuff.

Hmm. Not sure about that. We're in the North Stand very close to their ultras. It looks like it could be lively. I haven't told the missus that part but will need to make sure she doesn't rock up in hers too I guess. Will you be wearing your Brentford shirt…….??…….
?
I have never reported a post on the GPG before but I came very close this time. It’s put me right off my breakfastJust booked my Brazilian.??
That's some commitment and fair play to you! Me and my Mrs have been meaning to go to Bruges for some time but just the sigh of a football ground makes her mad ?Booked a weekend away from 8th March and have two tickets for Club Brugge v Oh Leuven on Sunday 10th March. Yes I think we negotiated with Nusa and his agent, all agreed he came for medical and was measured, your not 6 feet 2 we said, the guyThe Nusa thread has been closed.

Thanks mate, I don't see it as commitment really. We were planning a trip away for a weekend anyway and Bruges is lovely so you should definitely make the effort. It's only an hour or so drive from Calais so pretty easy. Thankfully my missus is quite happy to take in the odd game when we're away (we previously went to a Seville v Osasuna game), so it worked out pretty well. That's some commitment and fair play to you! It’s the translation of post 380, which is amusing post-contract chat by the agents. If only we could get more of this type of insight! (It’s similar to the one after Saïd signed on loan at OL, also from an agent).Article from Thiago agent said we've been tracking him since his move to Bulgaria. So not even related to Nusa deal.
Also that the recruitment team had analysed over 45 games and he hit 33 qualities they were after.
Also boasted about how they kept it silent. So all this Nusa related stuff is complete nonsense.

"Worked out well, didn't it?" - Agent delighted they kept big Brentford transfer secret, Thomas Frank impressive in talks
Brentford’s move for Igor Thiago was not a sudden move out of the blue but had long been in the pipeline. That’s according to his agents Marcelo Beer and Hugo, who have revealed their delight at keeping the deal secret. Brentford announced a surprise deal for the Brazilian striker yesterday...sportwitness.co.uk
It’s interesting also to see agents and players taking pride and interest in not publicising potential transfer discussions. That goes both for their client’s and also for them not knowing about our interest in Nusa. And their comment about our pal Fab!It’s the translation of post 380, which is amusing post-contract chat by the agents. If only we could get more of this type of insight! 100% agree. How refreshing is that? It’s interesting also to see agents and players taking pride and interest in not publicising potential transfer discussions. That goes both for their client’s and also for them not knowing about our interest in Nusa. And their comment about our pal Fab!
We worth a visit , be aware of plenty of walking on cobble stonesThat's some commitment and fair play to you! Me and my Mrs have been meaning to go to Bruges for some time but just the sigh of a football ground makes her mad ?
Also, if going up the tower make sure each of you has your own ticket bar code as it’s fiddly trying to have one person scan you through and the ticket barrier people get annoyed and unhelpful. We worth a visit , be aware of plenty of walking on cobble stones
True, thiago’s 50m if we’ve already sold ToneyOne of the best things about getting the signing done so early is that it helps with a Toney sale. Clubs who want him, many will, will try and lowball us but we already have his replacement in the building. Toney saga will likely take all summer to resolve, so thankfully we won't be left until the last week trying to spend 'new' money.
Thiago's agents are the sort I would have thought we would want to continue doing business with, anyone know what other players they represent? It’s interesting also to see agents and players taking pride and interest in not publicising potential transfer discussions. The agency is called Assis Representacoes Profissionais LTDA and the agents are Hugo Assis Do Nascimento, a Brazilian, and Marcelo Beer, a Belgian. They’ve got 9 players, only one not Brazilian, so I guess their main clientele are Brazilians in Belgium, none valued in 7-figures.Thiago's agents are the sort I would have thought we would want to continue doing business with, anyone know what other players they represent?
I should think dealing with Brentford will also be good PR for them and help them increase their “stock” if that is what they want to do.The agency is called Assis Representacoes Profissionais LTDA and the agents are Hugo Assis Do Nascimento, a Brazilian, and Marcelo Beer, a Belgian. We are growing form for getting in first while others dither. It happened with Toney, many others were "watching" him etc. but we were decisive and got the deal done. same with Schade as I recall and possibly KLP?But I would have thought any top club would have a scouting system in place and would be monitoring Thiago. Looks like we got in first or paid good agents fees to get him?
Better than sitting at his desk and Giles comes in and says here’s Carl CortI reckon TF gets no more than a showreel until he's signed.
True, but, overall, he failed to live up to expectations and the hype surrounding his transfer. What they guy that scored the goal that confirmed our promotion to the best league in the world? He came good in the couple of very important games that really mattered when we were down to bare bones.
Can't believe I once got away with taking my Mrs (then girlfriend) to the Stade de France during a cliché romantic trip for two to Paris. There wasn't even a game on, I just wanted to see inside the stadium! ?That's some commitment and fair play to you! Me and my Mrs have been meaning to go to Bruges for some time but just the sight of a football ground makes her mad ?
I wish my missus was that agreeable to watch football, when I mention going somewhere, eg a weekend on the South Coast, she askes why who are brentford playing ? She knows me too well. Thanks mate, I don't see it as commitment really. We were planning a trip away for a weekend anyway and Bruges is lovely so you should definitely make the effort. Just missed one on one blasted over the barVoice won't be happy as our new lad is playing in gloves.
Nusa reminds me of Brennan Johnson...similar gait when he's running off the ball.My stream went down so missed the Thiago chance. General standard of football is poor. Thiago strong, physical and quick but feeding off scraps. Nusa tracking back well but not getting much service.
Joking aside, there will be a LOT of pressure on this lad to hit the ground running, firstly because he is filling an Ivan shaped hole and secondly because of the eye-watering cost. He’s the latest scapegoat and he’s hasn’t even joined us yet! ?![]()
tbf that was one of the worst 45' I saw this season. We are far better than that.My stream went down so missed the Thiago chance. General standard of football is poor. Thiago strong, physical and quick but feeding off scraps. Nusa tracking back well but not getting much service.
Agent Igor .. do anything to avoid an injury!Thiago has just been sent off ?
