Igor Thiago
Had 3-4 chances tonight and really disappointing not to see him score at least 1. Great at hold up and getting into scoring positions but question marks remain for me over how clinical he is in front of goal.
Yep, shocking that's he still 3 goals short of Haaland. I expected more from him this season tbh.question marks remain for me over how clinical he is in front of goal.
He’s got the second best chance conversion rate in the Premier LeagueHad 3-4 chances tonight and really disappointing not to see him score at least 1. Great at hold up and getting into scoring positions but question marks remain for me over how clinical he is in front of goal.
21 goals in the PL shows me how clinical he is!!!!Had 3-4 chances tonight and really disappointing not to see him score at least 1. Great at hold up and getting into scoring positions but question marks remain for me over how clinical he is in front of goal.
Considering it’s his ‘first’ season too I agree. I think, because he accounts for so many of our goals, 21 of the 49, the demand for him to hit everything him is so great.21 goals in the PL shows me how clinical he is!!!!
Agreed. He made a couple of bad split second judgements, so what, not the first.
I didnt see him getting involved with Bruno and the ref.Backing him to get 2 on Saturday!
Frustrating night for him obviously and you could see his anger at missing those opportunities and he was getting involved in all sorts of nonsense with Bruno and the ref.
That first chance just needed smashing home like he did at the GTech against Utd , do that and he’d probably have had a hat trick !!
I wonder why that is... Couldn't possibly something to do with him being the captain of Manchester (do no wrong) United could itI didnt see him getting involved with Bruno and the ref.
I saw him walking away and Bruno shoving him and screaming at him and the ref, knowing he will never get booked for it.
Comparing a 20 goal PL striker to Murray Jones has got to be one level on from Dumb and Dumber.Under par performance from him , looked more like Murray jones than our Hotshot Igor.
He was booked in the match against us earlier this season.I wonder why that is... Couldn't possibly something to do with him being the captain of Manchester (do no wrong) United could it
Only because the ref had no choice but to book him, he gobs off continually, much of it directed at the officials and gets away with it 90% of the time, especially at Old TraffordHe was booked in the match against us earlier this season.
He keeps getting in the right positions, that is the most pleasing thing at the moment. When it clicks and he gets that clinical streak in him, he'll be unstoppable (and he's already pretty bloody good!).Needs to be more clinical...was a great chance in the first half but a really poor finish . Good pen though
Agree it was a poor finish but pretty sure it was offside anywayNeeds to be more clinical...was a great chance in the first half but a really poor finish . Good pen though
Goal scoring chances lead to goals, and Thiago himself has said that he didn’t expect to be scoring quite this many ( which maybe just modesty on his part). He still has age on his side though so there’s a good chance he’ll improve even more. It looks to me like he has the determination to succeed. He keeps getting in the right positions, that is the most pleasing thing at the moment. 22 goals in the PL tells me he is pretty clinical mateNeeds to be more clinical...was a great chance in the first half but a really poor finish . Good pen though
he's had a big seasom ,probably a bit of mental burn out
Nah, all forwards miss chances, Haaland went many gams without scoring, he is usually on double what he is now .
IT chases everything, he runs after every lost cause and is quite quick for a big fella. I was watching him yesterday, he barely stops.
The blokes a pro footballer all he has to do is remain fit and ready for 90 minutes each week… I have to deal with arsehole all week long and have no option to say I am a bit fatiguedView attachment 65685
14th most minutes played in the Prem this season. 7th if you remove goalies. And that's off the back of an entire season out. He has been magnificent and no surprise if his legs are feeling it a bit now. I'd be f***ed after 15 minutes![]()
Sorty to hear this. The blokes a pro footballer all he has to do is remain fit and ready for 90 minutes each week… I have to deal with arsehole all week long and have no option to say I am a bit fatigued
He's missed a few chances yea I agree, it happens, all the top strikers go through that just ask Haaland, but to say he's lost a bit of spark is taking it a bit far, did you not see his celebration after the penalty? He's as up for it as ever and I'm pretty sure he will be even more up for it when he's on the same pitch as Haaland next weekend!!!Something is a miss. Seems to have lost a bit of spark and form at the wrong time for him. Again though, the hold up play and off the ball was excellent.
He might be a proctologist….Sorty to hear this.
Have you seen your GP?

Just like we was going to be this season withoutWhat price do you put on him this season?
Currently he is completely un-sellable, especially if people are keen to be in Europe next season.
Nobody else is near to double figures.
I can’t be arsed to work it out, but without his goals I’m willing to guess we’d have been bang in trouble this season.
Yeah, and I'm gonna take a punt and say I don't reckon we'd have just played with 10 in each game......Just like we was going to be this season without& Mbuemo's?

The unknown, just back from a huge injury and plenty saying they didn't see anything to convince them he'd get the numbersWe already had Thiago though.
You are usually very sensible so I’m a bit surprised at this.
There is no way we can sell him this summer at any price.
