Sorry mate, I dont mean to dismiss your opinion but I just dont think it'd work. It just feels like a negative selection to me, he isnt going to hit the byline, he isnt going to score and I feel like he loves defending. I cant really remember any huge mistakes hes made and Woodman is just so poor when passing and getting forward. Plus the reason he managed to get those crosses in is cause other players made runs up the wing and then passed the ball back to him it wasnt cause of a mazy run from Jake himself.

Bidwell has made a real difference to us. At the Wycombe game both Bidwell and Logan dictated our play - Lee felt comfortable throwing the ball out to both fullbacks as he knew that they would distribute well (not hoof it up the field and hope). I hope Everton allow him for the rest of the season as he's gaining in confidence with every game.

On a related loan topic I would love to see us raid West Ham for a couple of strikers. Robert Hall did really well at oxford and has impressed since he's been back at West Ham (a Hammer friend of mine rates him very highly). He's quick and got a really good finish to him. Now they've signed Maynard and Vaz Te I can only assume he's dropped further and further down the pecking order. I'm assuming they'll want him to play some games in a competitive division. Would be great to get him and Freddie Sears in on loan (like Hall ,Sears will now be further down the list at Upton Park). He's a skillful player - could offer a new dimension to our game.

We absolutely need stronger options up front.

Any reason Sears has gone quiet,attitude etc. He can't be a youngster now.

Has Sears done anything, anywhere since he scored in his debut? Three goals in 60-odd games...no thanks.

Well im a natural cynic but I certainly hope you're right and that the lack of progress is cause all parties are assuming it goes ahead. Agreed, he has already shown a lot of improvement and will continue to. Theres nothing wrong with greediness when its for the good of the club :D

I think he'll be here for a while, enjoying his football, getting much needed experience, definitely improving and still a way off Evertons first team at the moment. Hope this might be another club that we can forge good links with.

Is there any particular reason we seem to be extending his loan on a monthly basis as opposed to just extending until the end of the season?

Is that our choice, Evertons, or just the rules regarding youth loans?

I'm guessing it's Everton, also as this is a short term loan I assume we can only have him for 93 days?

Great stuff. I still dont really understand how a youth loan differs from a normal one but if it means we can keep him longer then ill go with it.

If they're both called up along with McGinn and Thompson for the Irish sides could we invoke the 3 player rule and postpone games?

Won everything and when he cleared the ball he did it very well also made some great moves forward and won a few challenges that were 70/30 against

Excellent game today. Would have been my MOM if it weren't for the two goals by SB. Probably Bidwells best game for us so far.

Best I've seen him play yesterday. Reading the game well and supporting the attack. Got exposed at times in the first half, but because the formation left him without cover, not because of any shortcomings on his behalf

He's just Mr. Reliable. Rarely have I seen him have a poor game and if we could secure him on loan for next season I'd be over the moon. Easy to forget he's as young as he is.
