Jo Kuffour

Jo out. Didn't score yesterday. Obviously isn't up to the job. ;)

Jo Kuffour

I can't actually beleive just how decent he is.:D

He always looks dangerous and is a right nuisance to whoever is picking him up.:sorted: Early days but loads of promise.

Jo Kuffour

Looking forward to seeing him up front with Owusu. Might actually work quite well.... :sorted:

Jo Kuffour

How many do you think Jo can score tomorrow? It could be another showboat moment!!! lol

Jo Kuffour

Worked hard and showed some nice touches, but was closely marked as Bournemouth realised he was our only threat

Jo Kuffour

Are you Jo's little brother? Do you really support Spurs?

Jo Kuffour

Yea but Brentford are a good local team and I'm right behind them :)

Excellent! You support North Londoners Tottenham Hotspur but you're right behind West Londoners Brentford. :) Thats great! No wonder we have no fans... The locals would rather support other teams from different parts of London. Why Tottenham Hotspur? Leyton Orient, Barnet, Enfield, but that'd be weird...

I trust you are from North London and watch Tottenham Hotspur a lot more than you watch Brentford? lol

Course you dont..

FFS it's a free country let him support who he wants

He probably still goes to a few games from time to time and put some money into the club. I'm guessing he's not that much older then 13/14, I know lots of people who have changed from premiership clubs to Brentford at around this age but it all starts out as a little soft spot then develops into the full blown thing.

Jo Kuffour

lol

Why I'm often looked at with a mixture of sadness and embarressment when I admit I'm a Bees fan: it's not dissimilar to a virus.

My little spot started to appear when I switched from West Ham and then Chelsea to follow Brentford. Over the years, nay decades, it has become a festering sore that needs constant scratching and squeezing and only rarely does this provide relief. I've tried creams, I've tried ignoring it but it's still there, nagging away and whether it's sadness or embarrassment nobody quite understands what makes this grown man drive all the way to Chesterfield on a perfectly sunny Saturday in September when I could ahve stayed at home and done the garden and seen exactly how the game was unfolding on Ceefax. Maybe next week.

Why exactly is this in the Kuffour thread?

Jo Kuffour

Relax sir, we're all just dealing with a particularly difficult Sunday outbreak. Have you something to add that gets us back on topic?

Why exactly is this in the Kuffour thread?

Jo Kuffour

 The boy is quality - don't make him a victim of someone else's inadequacies.

Jo Kuffour

I don't think Kuffour has been 100% for a couple of games now, I felt in the first half against Yeovil he wasn't moving 100% freely - hope he gets to rest his back

Jo Kuffour

looooooooooooooooool we do need to think of some new celebrations lol :D

Jo Kuffour

Our only hope if we even have any left, if he goes in January we wont get 30 points in the whole season.

Jo Kuffour

Got to play this boy up front and not waste him at LM.:nono:

Quite right - he is more dangerous than Moore, Willock and Rhodes put together. Fitz's first priority in January should be to find right and left midfielders, if Tomlin or Brooker or Tillen are not up to it. It is a criminal waste that our most potent goal threat is not playing where he should be. Now that we've got the Centre of Midfield looking tougher (Mousinho was excellent against Millwall, I thought), we need some pace alongside Griffiths- possibly play Frampton at CB and Charles at LB if we can't bring anyone in- some wingers, and a forward to play alongside Kuffour.

Jo Kuffour

we need some pace alongside Griffiths

So you think Griffiths is good enough. Personally don't see he is any better than Heywood. We need a keeper, 2 centrebacks, to wide midfield & anothe rcentral midfielder at least. We might get by with current strike force if Owusu ever gets fit and Cox signs for the season. So 6 minimum players that have to be better than what we have, otherwise don't bother.
We should try and ship out Heywood, Tillen & Brooker as we just may get some takers although probaly won't. Not quite sure what we can do with Skulason & Pinault though, expensive sideshow they are proving to be.

Jo Kuffour

if you think he is going to find five decent players (better than we've got...) who will come to the bottom club in division one on loan sadly you are wrong.

at best he will bring in a couple of experienced journeymen and maybe take another punt on a youngster.

I reckon we can easily find five better players. Whether they'll be good enough is a completely different question.

Jo Kuffour

I seem to remember that Kuffour only signed for a year and have not heard anything about extension etc. Is it the case where he is free to walk in the summer? If so should we start negotiations. I think he done enough to justify a longer deal.
