Seems a nasty bit of work to me. Might provide BITE in midfield however.

He could be a very useful player if he stays out of trouble and concentrates on the football but let's be honest, that's unlikely. I assume a midfielder would be leaving to accommodate him. :suspect:

I went to school with the guy's cousin and heard dozens of tales of his party wrecking, might be a laugh for the GP Xmas jamboree.
How about Morris versus Thorpe charity boxing match, all proceeds going to fighting chance?

Seriously though, i doubt he's able to add anything to the midfield that Mous or Moore don't already cover. I'd rather a pacey defender or a fox in the box.
We should learn from the Shipperly debacle.

he has no application - his old mate JT is captain of england whilst he is drifting around the lower leagues

Actually I think you will find he is doing quite well with in a business with John Terry and I think Andy Myers. Something to do with gadgets in your house... (i.e texting your house on your way home and it will turn on the fire, draw the blinds, put a certain music on creating a certain ambience!)

Basically stuff only footballers can afford and he must know a few!:wave:

I'm sure he was having trails at the training ground recently. And no I didn't go on a Thurs/Fri.

my concerns with signing him (if we do), is that his reputation will proceed him. It seems everyone in the game of football dislikes him, so it shouldn't be too hard to wind him up, and referees will only be too happy to send him off.

If he could bring Des Byrne, the 3rd member of the infamous punch up with him , then I'd be happy. we need a left back and he would be excellent, saw him playing recently in Irleland and he was on a different level imho. :sorted:

Still early doors imho. :wave: we are allowed to give many others 50 or more games before turning them into icons, yet we allow 2 months for a Chelsea teenager. :confused:

Butcher's plan is to play him and Thorpe as the 2 centre backs, they can then take it turns to get sent off ?

I've stated it on another thread some while ago but Jody Morris is a complete scrote, like a cheaper nastier version of Dennis Wise but not as bright or devious.

He's been allowed to leave everywhere else that offered him a chance to rebuild his career and he's a midget, we've already got a surplus.

Absolutely no, and for once I'm not prepared to forget his past, he's not fit to wear the shirt!

Spot-on mate, that's correct. One of the PA's where I work dated him for quite a while during his best time at Chelsea. He used to come for a drink after work with her and some of us. He wasn't all bad then, but definately let the fame and money go to his head, which led to the Heathrow Hotel 9/11 incident, nightclub brawl with JT, orgy in Ayia Napa (lets face it..who hadn't.. lol) and christ knows what else. Last I knew playing wise he was at Millwall but that was a while back.

He would have to prove a hell of a lot to get into the team and that's saying a lot considering what's gone on already this season. I would rather he didn't get the chance to prove though.

By all accounts he's a c**t but at the same time was pretty good for Milwall for a while and our midfield is certainly missing some aggression. Not sure whether he'd bring too much of it mind.

I wouldn't mind if we got him on non contract terms for a bit to see how he does. If he does the business on the pitch and keeps his head down off it could be a good move.

Then again someone with his reputation playing for someone with Butchers reputation I'd expect it to end with them having a bust and him subsequently leaving.

Very much a wait and see situation for me but I certainly wouldn't be angered or annoyed by it
