I'm happy enough with a defensive midfielder who probably hasn't taken 10 shots in the 3 years he's been with us but whose play has contributed a great deal to us being the third highest goalscorers and third strongest defence in the division, despite having a striker who many think has a lot of flaws and weaknesses that need to be worked on and two central defenders who've not played as many Championship games as their combined age.

Played centre back for Richmond & Kew FC today who were playing Whitton Vilians FC in the Surrey South Eastern Combination Intermediate Division 3 ?

Dougie hit the post with a free kick and was probably Richmond & Kews best player today in my opinion. He won a good few headers, made some good tackles and passed the ball about nicely and he seemed up for it with plenty of shouting.

My 5 year old grandson was mascot against hartlepool on a cold winters day a few years ago. Jon took his tracksuit top and put it around a shivering Max as they walked to pitch.
That shows a decent bloke to me.
