Hey, why not write off this guy because he was not up to Premiership standards while he was at Leicester City and ignore the fact that he has played a key role in the promotion of several teams from our level? Sometimes I wonder what planet people are on.

People haven't completely written him off, but we're allowed to say he played badly!

Got back from two weeks holiday in Portugal on sunday to find we had re-signed Pratley (Hurrah!), and also Junior Lewis (Gasp)!.

An e-mail was waiting me from my brother in New Zealand who was a Leicester City season ticket holder during the "Lewis" era. He had this to say about him........

"A plastic subbuteo man that someone has trod on and re glued about 30 times so his legs are different lengths and join the base just below the knee is better than him".

agreed again. Lewis was great at standing in 'that hole' which opposition players usually leg it into when we are attacking and they make a break.

Maybe it's my memory, but I dont remember Swansea today making a threatening-looking counter-attack. I thank Lewis for that.

on the strength of one good half?? Not entirely convinced myself, if we've got to raid the players fund it should be for a guaranteed first teamer, ie Pratley rather than a bench warmer..

He looked good in the first half when we were more attacking, but struggled when we went more defensive. he may have looked worse because Hutch didn't look like he had played enough football in the second half.

May also be because he lacks a bit of match fitness

I have not been a fan of Junior since he came here but he showed in the first half that he can play very good football.
its frustrating though that he went back to the old junior a few minutes after half time...
if he can produce more performances like his in the first half then he may be worth a contract...
