If you are looking at the table and thinking we should be clear favourites for this, think again.
Casting the Leeds Derangement Syndrome present on this board aside, it should be recognised that they’ve been a little bit in a false league position. They may only be one point ahead of last week’s opponents Bournemouth right now but they are a different level of outfit and much, much less likely to be relegated.
The scoreline of our home victory over Leeds certainly flattered us, and on another day we might have dropped points.
FiveThirtyEight narrowly calculates the most likely result as a Leeds win:
I’m a little bit worried about this one myself, our 4-3-3 looked like a “work in progress” last week. If we go 3-5-2, it may be a safer bet, but it means we will defend deeper and have to absorb a lot of pressure under an intense atmosphere. We struggled with that away to Villa and Newcastle and crumbled early on.
If we, once again, don’t have Henry available to play at left back (or if he is not 100% on his return to fitness) that will have a big impact as well, as (and particularly in a 3-5-2) he is a such an important outlet with his pace.
So with all that in mind I’ll predict 2-0 Leeds

I’d be seriously delighted with a point.
