Great stuff. All he has to do is win the race then we can celebrate a Brit winning the championship for a change.

lol Alonso kicked down a door and threw his helmet cos he was so much slower than Hamilton. He seems to be blaming the team cos there is no way Hamilton could actually be a better driver than him.... rofl rofl rofl

Lewis Hamilton

Hamilton is OUT.

He had no grip on his tyres at all. :(:(:(

That spanish git better not win it!!!

Lewis Hamilton

Complete disaster. Total school boy error by the team not bringing him in earlier, he was loosing time hand over fist and his tyres were worse than useless.:nono:

Lewis Hamilton

Strange decision by the team. I think there was a bit of inexperience and impatience on Lewis' part as well as he overcooked it, given the condition of his tyres and the fact that he should know the pit lane will be wet.

Hopefully it'll be as good a race in Brazil as the last two with Lewis winning the championship.

Lewis Hamilton

Its ok the organisers want it re-run later today. You know whats its like with a Chinese you want another one a few hours later

Lewis Hamilton

  I hope he wins it in 2 weeks time.

Lewis Hamilton

It was almost destined to go to the final race wasn't it. And the fact it is a three-way fight, albeit that Raikkonen has a lot to do, makes it even more interesting.

I think it all depends on Hamilton's mental strength. If he's right up top he'll get a top four place minimum, which should be enough.

You know Alonso and Raikkonen will go all out, and Massa will be an extra man for Raikkonen.

Going to be a great spectacle.

Lewis Hamilton

Drive of the day has to go to the forgotten Brit Button....I think that is called exceeding expectations.

Got this feeling Lewis is going to flunk it it to Ferrari who should have it anyway morally..

Lewis Hamilton

hmm, Vettel would surely push Button for drive of the day? :sorted:

Brazil GP should be good then :bound:

Lewis Hamilton

..........all down to the last race.............woo hoo...............

No way! If anything Alonso is most likely to go to Ferrari... Lewis is staying at McLaren, he doesnt want to leave. Wouldnt surprise me if Raikonnen and Alonso swapped teams.

Lewis Hamilton

Given that finishing 3rd or 4th would possibly have guaranteed him the title, it seemed crazy not to bring him in when his problems became obvious; he might have lost a place or 2, but that's better than going out

Lewis Hamilton

Alonso has won in Brazil twice before, Hamilton has never even driven there. It will be his first anti-clockwise track too.

Definitely not the best track to need to get a podium finish imho. :fishing:

Lewis Hamilton

I thought Turkey was AC aswell?

Lewis Hamilton

Alonso not won in an F1 car before, but it is certainly going to be tight. Although Massa won last year, traditionally the track has not favoured either Ferrari or McLaren. Kimi has been solid but never never done too well on it compared to his teammate, and Lewis has never driven an F1 car (maybe any car?) on it.

Its going to be tight!

Lewis Hamilton

OOPPSSS

Lewis hadn't driven on 95% of the tracks before this year. So i wouldnt worry.... ;)

Barachello learnt a couple tracks that he didn't know from video games.

Not too sure how he did though.

Lewis Hamilton

Only fifth in today's practice :(

Lewis Hamilton

Massa
Hamilton
Raikkonen
Alonso

There have been incidents at the Senna S (first corner) before and I hope there isn't one today.

Lewis Hamilton

Bad start and car problems. If he places it will be an amazing finish, but the signs aren't good at lap 14 with Hamilton in 16th.

Lewis Hamilton

rolling of the dice by mclaren, soft tyres on, this could be genius or pure craziness!

Lewis Hamilton

So who would you like to see at McLaren next year? Assuming Alonso pisses off.

Kubica has fantastic potential, but I´d like to see De La Rosa get a chance.

Lewis Hamilton

It's a gripping race, and it's such a refreshing change to have it go to the wire after what seems like many years of dreary processions.

Lewis Hamilton

another glorious British failure! unlucky Lewis

Lewis Hamilton

What a crazy end to a vintage, tumultuous championship!!

Well done Kimi.

McLaren now rival New Zealand as Champion Chokers 2007.....

I'm sure Lewis will be back in the hunt next year..

Lewis Hamilton

Great result for me - shut the Spanish up :D

Let´s hope Hamilton can win it cleanly next year. No whinging prima donna and no dirty tricks.

Lewis Hamilton

I think the team screwed up by making him 3 stop whilst everyone else was on a 2 stop strategy. Oh well theres plenty of time for him to win a world championship yet

Lewis Hamilton

A collection of errors/bad luck.

Hamilton had a bad start, he needed to stay ahead of his two challengers, he couldn't.

The engine issue ultimately cost him he would have finished at least fifth otherwise and the change of strategy didn't gain him any places, although I don't think it cost him a great deal

Lewis Hamilton

Should have won the Championship in Shanghai but driver / team got too greedy on the day.

looking forward to next year already though but Ferrari will the team to beat (again)

Lewis Hamilton

Let's hope BMW and Renault step up in 2008.

I would love to see Kubica in the BMW and Alonso in the Renualt add to the drama next year.
