Leyton Orient

Just been speaking to an O's fan and he reckons we will only get something like 300 or 400 tickets for this game

I can see it being messy :D

Leyton Orient

Normally around 1,000....what has happenned ?

Leyton Orient

The ground only holds 6,000 or so and is still being worked on.

Leyton Orient

My new season resolution is not to struggle for tickets ever again.:sorted:
If I can't get one then I am not worthy, I will feel like a premiership fan and watch 408 for the day.

Leyton Orient

I think you'll find plenty of takers for the 'stay in a pub and entertain the locals' option for this one.

Leyton Orient

Hmm, reckon we'll get more than 300 tbh. Will be really fooked off if I can't get a ticket cos I targeted this as a new ground to go to.

Leyton Orient

According to their website, capacity is 7872 and maximum number of seats allocated to away fans is 592 lol

WTF are they playing at? Should have at least 1000 seats for away fans  Even Colchester had 1300 ffs

Leyton Orient

they have allocated 1,500 to West Brom for their Carling Cup tie

Aren't there rules on cup ties, that the home team has to give the away team 15% of the ground?

Leyton Orient

My life is due to end on that day so I most likely will have to miss it anyway

Leyton Orient

15% of 7872 is less than 1200. :)

It all depends on what time!

Mind you I wouldn't like to end my life at Leyton Orient although it does seem like the end of the world when you get there.

Condolences in advance.

when will the tickets go up for sale on this? I gotta go to this one as the trips to brisbane road in the early 90s are my earliest bees memories and i seem to recall it being a happy hunting ground....

Leyton Orient

nothing on the o/s and they haven't had a reply from orient

Leyton Orient

where you that bloke infront of me in the ticket office who asked about the o's and millwalls tickets?

Leyton Orient

8th september

Leyton Orient

I would imagine that they'd be in by 2nd Sept

Leyton Orient

I thought you were joking there...

Leyton Orient

Straight onto general sale?
What a joke, who is making these decisions FFS :nono:

If I may play devil's advocate for a moment.

This is twice as many as we had for Brighton, which we got nowhere near selling.

I know Orient is nearer and cheaper but when was the last time we took this many fans to an away league game outside west London?

As I said, just playing devil's advocate.

1. We always take lots to Orient, its only 30 odd stops down the Central Line

2. What is the point in having a customer charter if they dont use it

3. Why not have options for away reg and STs for a few days first?

4. Who is making these crass decisions and ignoring what was put in place following various ticket fiascos

5. Why do BFC go out of their way to making a pigs ear of these simple issues, why do they never learn from their mistakes and instead go out of their way to antagonise their customers and create potential problems when there is no need to:confused:
