I had an interview with a panel of 4 or so in The Albany after a game last season and despite me buying a very generous round for them all I don't think I got the job as I never heard back :cry:

Ahh well, they could probably tell I am well past it, turning 30 this year n all :D

Engineering work on Metropolitan line, so change at Wembley Park to the Jubilee, change at Bond street for Central to Leyton.

That was exactly why I din't ring the club, based on years of experience of the level of 'service' we get from her (!). Eventually summoned up the calm resolve needed when usually dealing with GP, and rang the club, only to get Peter Gilham, who sorted everything out in about 10 seconds and was the absolute model of professionalism and courtesy. Very impressed!! :sorted:

I just spoke to Winnie as the tickets I ordered on the phone on Tuesday hadn't arrived by post. There is no trace of my order !!! But, Winnie said she could sort me out 2 tickets and for me to pick them up from Orient. As it turns out, it's easier for me to pick them up from the Griffin Park shop, and I will feel happier having them in my possession before heading out East.

So, if you move quickly, you should be OK to pick them up from Orient.

Phone up the club and offer them back....it looks as though the club will sell out in this case, so they might be pleased to get some 'extras'

there will be plenty of space in the home end....I know a few bees who are taking up that option, just to get away quick at the end...

That happened to me with the Gills game last season, nice to see things don’t change lol

The steward who gave me the tickets envelope at the gate though was one of the thugs from Charlton, no word of a lie ! :eek:

Same thing happened to me with Swansea play-off tickets last season...

I know she's been at BFC ages, but she is useless. I get more joy talking to my 94 year old great aunt...

Ticket for the away end

Open plea,

I was supposed to be doing a work thing tomorrow, but I was told this afternoon that I could miss it. So I've got a chance to go to Orient - but no ticket.

Does anyone have one extra? I could meet you there and pay in cash.

Am planning to drink in their supporters club - admit away fans for a small
fee (prob just couple of quid) and they have a good selection of real ales :sorted:
and have won award from CAMRA for it, tho apparently fills up fast.
Know an O's fan who might be there - guy who runs cider stalls at beer festivals.

Planning to leave Ealing Broadway at noon get there around 1pm.

Otherwise,found on some pub website: Birckbeck Tavern, Langthorne Road
has real ale and is home and away fan friendly.

All the silly northern games I go too then sods law says I have to miss one just down the road..:( I shall be listening to it on Bees World and keeping maddogging and that militant Chapman up-to-date via text message... have a good time everyone :wave:

......'Nana, who knows why you've seen a demonstration of away ticket sales, even more so, who cares?..............................;)

.....................but I would contend that a demonstration is merely that, a demonstration of how things could be done; rather like if you went to a motor show or to Farnborough Air Show, you might see a concept car or a prototype aircraft, but that doesn't mean that you can write out a cheque for that particular piece of kit there and then and expect to take it home with you..................even a demonstration drive at your local McLaren dealer would not mean that you could buy one then, you'd just go on the waiting list if you expressed a desire to own one..............

You should've gone. Not for the quality of the footy but becasue they were letting folk pay on the gate, not that there were any seat for them mind.

Lack of protection was the reason nocoat wasn't there as opposed to lack of a ticket. :wave:

OK, I'll rephrase. I seen an ACTUAL WORKING SYSTEM with AWAY matches on it at BRENTFORD FOOTBALL CLUB.

and what a sterling effort you did, managed to please about 6 or 7 guests at my sisters wedding when the 'yes, yes, yes' text came through !!! :sorted:

Yes, you may have seen a demonstration of selling away tickets ...... however, this feature is not available in the current live system!
