Interesting he's asking the players to have the same comittment as him, want a strange thing to say to YOUR players?

To me that show's that there is a problem between him and them?
Hmmm same commitment as him...does that mean he is asking them to apply for other jobs? lol

Manager Position

You don't suppose secretly all the board and management are Q.P.HA or Fulscum fans do u??

Also I would like to put on record to the BFC Board that I have won numberous Champions League trophies on Fifa 11 and also from Championship Manager 97/98 right through to Football Manager 11, I have perfected the art of getting the Bees to the Premiership and I have also won the JPT several times...

"A club official...." Which club official? Sounds like more made up shlte to me.

Hmmm talking to the press and not to the fans

Like you say it might be made up?

Surely everyone's been told to keep quiet

The fans have spoken but AS is still pulling our club down, The Fan's Club? (I don't think so)

So, just catching up on the days events...

- A club official has allegedly said Scott is staying - so much so that there is no 'absolutely no truth' in claims that he may be leaving.
- Scott accepts the blame and isn't going to "do anything different from what I’ve been doing"

Jolly good.

Clearly they don't care that the fans are leaving in droves..........

No tweets today from Rebus and he is a serial twitterholic......hoping this means he is currently engaged

AS states "It doesn't mean I'm going to do anything different.......".

There is a quote often used in management courses which says "If you keep on doing what you've always done you get what you always got"

you get what you always got...except the crowd, which can be expected to fall as the weeks go by

Yes that is true and also I do not just hoof the ball for my quickest player to chase either...

You can be my fitness coach!!!

God and I thought Kim was stubbon!!! :D

My wish list....1. (by a country mile) Keith Hill 2. Gary Johnson 3. John Still 4. Martin Allen 5. Alan Devonshire . Id bite your hand off for Curbs or Deano but neither of them are going to happen so I've not included them.

MA would be a knee jerk reaction. We need stability for the long term. MA was good for TV interviews and left us at the first better offer. The best man out there is Chris Houghton who finished his playing days at Brentford. He may not hang around even if we could appoint him, and could he work with our measely budget? He would bring respect and experience to the changing room. Gary Johnson would be my second choice as he has worked the lower divisions before and worked wonders at Bristol City. But get real every manager who we talk about has been sacked for failure somewhere else except Deano who is still cutting his teeth in the market place. I've just been made redundant and will take the role if asked and would pick a team starting with a goalie that has more movement and flexibility than Simon Royce. Cruel but true!

This could be the start of an amazing managerial journey which leads to a job at barca or real madrid

A new manager at PNE and Sheff Utd has not really done much, noro Middlesboro, the players are the problem if you ask me, yes Scott signed them but they choose what to do or not to do when they are on the pitch, if we survive which in my opinion is unlikely we need a mass cull with or without a new man at the helm

I've got a large stone statue in my back garden if you need it.

a small number aren't really good enough (grabben, and even players like marcus and hunty long term spring to mind, although of course everyone has different opinions), but there are players that we know ARE good enough that aren't performing/aren't being given the chance... toumani/pim/forster immediately spring to mind... not to mention the constant chopping and changing of the team. it's such a shame because when they're playing well I genuinely think this squad would be good enough for a play-off place...

Manager Position

the squad is bloated in 28 men, Wright, Bean, Legge, Grabban, Hudson are not good enough, little surprise we didn't lose any players this transfer window.

Martin Allen in tomorrow, then both sides can review at the end of the season, plus he'll put 1000 on the gate on Saturday. It just makes sense.

I'll be one of them. I'm not a great fan of Mad Dog but I'd turn up to welcome him back saturday. No change by then and I'm not coming. Why? Because when I left GP last weekend I didn't feel gutted or angry, just resigned to poor play and poor result, and that's not why I love the club and the game.

Very harsh that on Legge - not as good year as last sure, but definitely worth perservering with

Harsh on Legge and Hudson who are still learning the game at this level.
I've seen a confident Grabban destroy Huddersfields defence almost single handedly, so there's potential there too.
I'm convinced Bean can still do some sort of job for us after seeing his performance against Saints but whether he's the man for a starting XI....I don't know.
Wright? I can probably live without.

Manager Position

why not deano **** aldershot or bliss??

I'm not sure about Martin Allen returning - I'm not a believer in going back - to a job, relationship or a football manager, just because it brings back fond memories and it seems better than what's going on at present. Just a question - why are so many MA backers suggesting he should come back on a temporary basis to see if it works? The thread was about taking BFC forward and it seems that a lot of people don't have the confidence he would do that - just bring a smile to a few faces for a short while.

Manager Position

but our squad is far too large at 28 men not including the people out on loan

Manager Position

am I going mad, home from work. No verbal warning, no written warning, no communication - full stop. I wish I could perform so badly at work and get away with it (and get a pay off).

That would be a start.

I've been checking BBC and Bees homepage at regular intervals and still can't believe there is no mention of a managerial change. Nearly 9pm maybe the board are still meeting and discussing, that can be the only answer.

Manager Position

I wasn't there last night and haven't being going at home for a while. Better things to do, like DIY (my choice which says it all as a typical bees fan at the moment). Listened last night and was really upset. I wasn't there so please forgive me but the beesworld commenatry summed up how I felt. How can so many talented players perform so badly?

Manager Position

the silence is deafening.............even IF we won the next 2 games it doesnt change anything......he's got to go.......we've all had enough
