Managerial Changes 2014/15

How far up the list of longest serving managers is MW now??

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Lee Clarke named Blackpool boss lol unbelievable

Made for each other! Clark one of the most unlikeable managers on the touchline, always whingeing to the ref, lino, 4th official, his staff and players, and anyone else who will listen...!

Riga is better off away from that shower anyway. Very dignified in the way he conducted himself in the face of some shocking antics from their chairman.

Oyston was interviewed on Talksport and shamelessly blamed Riga for everything,
despite the fact that he's long been flagrantly using Blackpool FC as a cash cow to
subsidise his other businesses

having been through our own hell with Noades, it's hard not to feel sympathy with
Blackpool's long suffering fans. whilst their current trajectory is probably the Conference or worse,
we can only reflect on how fortunate we are to have Matthew

Sami Hyypia must be on borrowed time. . No win in 12 and a side that he inherited after reaching the play offs last season is now fighting relegation . Combine that with a huge amount of boos ringing around the Amex stadium Saturday after their draw against Rotherham and it could be curtains for him soon if things do not change and quick .

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Man City owners must be twitching as City were devoid of ideas tonight

Down to 9 men and should have been 8 as Nasri should have gone for a forearm smash !!!!!

With the squad they have assembled the present positions in league and Europe are not good

Paul Tisdale must be on shaky ground. Only mid table in League 2and knocked out of the cup live on tele by a team four leagues below Exeter

Managerial Changes 2014/15

David Moyes new manager of Real Sociedad.

Good luck to the bloke . An honest. , hard working ambassador of the game that inherited an ageing side from ferguson . Seems quite strange that Red nose distanced himself from the appointment when he failed . What is even more notable is that Van Gaal has asked for three years to be measured on . Not a chance in hell Moyes would have got that .

Yep..Think Moyes was short changed to be honest.

maybe on Sunday.. I'll give him less than a year..

To be fair at least the Sociedad fans will give him a chance, something the utd "fans" never did.

So far, Van Gaal has spent four times as much as Moyes was allowed to, and acheived less points at the same stage of the season.

If they fail to qualify for the champions league again, I wonder where that will leave the Iron Tulip??

Knives being sharpened at Spurs think it's 4 out of 5 defeats at home. Lots of booing at half and full time

Could we see both Sours and City change their managers this side of Christmas ??

Four in six.

Spurs turned the music on (and loud) at the final whistle yesterday.

Hasselbaink seems to be the favourite for the Burton job and this seems to have more substance then when he's linked to every other job.

Can never understand why that keeps happening.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

Jimmy does need to get on the ladder somewhere….it seemed a bit like he was putting himself in the frame for every job. But he seems knowledgable and may be a good manager. It would be good if he did get the Burton job to be able to demonstrate this.

Managerial Changes 2014/15

It is a roundabout but does it make any difference what manager you have?

"That's what makes the role of manager so difficult to evaluate. Analytics folks will argue -- and many have done so, compellingly -- that managers matter little; club success is almost exclusively down to net spend and wage bill. Giovanni Trapattoni's view is along the same lines, with the caveat that a bad manager can really screw things up no matter how good the side is."

"A good coach who gets everything right can make a team maybe 5 percent better," he said. "A bad one can make it 30 percent worse. Sometimes more."

Source:This is brilliant from @Marcotti. Crazy that our opinion of David Moyes is based on 10 months at United: es.pn/1u2fjH1

Confirmed by Burton now.

Confirmed by Burton now.

Recommended by McLaren so should have something about him. Probably. Wasn't he an early bookies favourite for us either pre or post Rosler?

Malky Mackay appointed at Wigan

Managerial Changes 2014/15

This appointment probably says more about Whelan as a person than anything else

DW is a model of moral integrity neither Andy Gray nor Richard Keys were interviewed after lengthy deliberation :)

Managerial Changes 2014/15

In some respects Makay is lucky that the "textgate" affair became public knowledge as it has completely overshadowed the far more serious allegations of dodgy transfer dealings. far more easier to justify to potential chairmen that the texts were a private mistake that became public. Whereas explaining away effectively stealing from the club would be much more difficult imo.

Malky Mackay appointed at Wigan

He probably knew about DW's leg being broken in an FA Cup final, did his homework before the interview, there's always one who knows more than the other candidates. :(
