Does this mean it's officially next season now?Yippee!

The season starts on 5th August, so what's the betting someone will be gone by 31st?
My question is which clubs are currently without a manager, or at least a permanent one?
Sunderland and Oxford United.
Any others?
Oxford could do worse than give Alan Devonshire a go. Doubt it will happen.
Have Palace appointed anyone yet following Big Sam's walking?

Sunderland, C Palace, Oxford U and Southampton are the Clubs without a Manager.
Wilder, McInnes and Monk turned down Sunderland. The Black Cats are now after Grayson of PNE!
Really hoping they end up with Lee Clark as their last option.
He's number 8 on their list..... probably! They have Darren Ferguson, Keith Curle & Phil Brown to call on first! lol
Mick McCarthy?! Has to be number 9.![]()
What about Steve Evans?
They've offered it to Frank de Boer, so it appears from The Netherlands...
He's 10, 11 and 12.
Damn good appointment.
never heard of him before?
I made the same mistake. It's what you get if you combine Mauricio Pochettino and Manuel Pellegrino.
Okay, I admit I confused Mauricio Pellegrino with the former Man City manager currently managing in China.
Simon Grayson to Sunderland eh? Wonder if Uwe fancies his chances at the Deepdale next season if this happens?
What about a return for David Moyes?
Pep Clotet appointed Oxford United manager. Will be interesting to see how he goes.
Alex Neil set to become Preston manager.
Ian cathro gone from hearts.....thought he was someone we migh have been interested in a while back.....

Wonder when the first Championship manager to go will be, usually someone goes quickly after a poor start. My money would be on McCarthy. He is already in battle mode after a shocking display against Charlton in a friendly.
Toss up between Wolves and Leeds managers. If either are bottom half after 10 games, they'll be out. Wolves need to win games with all that money spent.
Or one of the relegated teams if they don't hit the ground running.
That's the thing, though, Ipswich could well face a relegation fight.Ipswich's owner knows McCarthy is doing a decent job on a low budget with little additional money for purchases. He'll only be in danger if the risk of relegation looms.
P.S. McCarthy is the longest serving Championship manager at present. Anyone know where his departure would leave Deano on the list?
Or second, if you're talking about "managing his club in the Championship" (behind Carvalho), rather than mere "Championship managers" (Neil Harris)
Grayson at Sunderland.
McCarthy at Ipswich.
Holloway at Ra Ra's.
Parkinson at Bolton, depending upon how unrealistic the owners are considering their transfer embargo.
Two from the above plus one unexpected would be my guess for the first three Championship managers to go.
Someone should start a thread for guessing the first three managerial changes in the Championship.
Add Leeds and Wolves if there not in top 4 by end of September
When Leeds kicked off on Sunday, it was the seventh successive August they started out with a new manager.
