Too much player movement in the Summer - a bit like us in 2015.

He has no idea what his best team is and the squad has not gelled.

Recipe for total disaster particularly if the players hang him out to dry.

After the weekend's result he hinted he was going to agree to leave as he thought it was the best thing to do for the club. He may be attracted but I'm not sure he's someone we'd be tracking down.

You are probably perfectly correct, however listening to the various interviews it did seem likely that we would be looking st a coach in work and having a lower division manager leave by mutual consent I kind of wondered. Have absolutely no idea of his abilities but he is reasonably young and ambitious so might be interested in us with our succession planning

Equally could be totally wrong he might be rubbish and I can go back to smoking my pipe in peace!!!!

I managed to get Brentford into the champions League with the pittance Benham gave me after we reached the premier league on football manager. Perhaps they would see me as over qualified

Got sick to death of hearing Campbell playing the race card every time he wasn't shortlisted for every managerial vacancy in the country over the past 4-5 years.

However, he has gone up in my estimation in taking this job, as he's shown he's prepared to start at the bottom. He may never work his way up, as I would say success for him there is unlikely, but he's clearly not taken the job for money or publicity. Hey, even Cloughy couldn't turn Hartlepools Utd into a successful team. The difficulty for Campbell (as has been the case for many ex top-flight pros) will be frustration that the players under his coaching will not be able to match the standard he probably requires.

I’m not sure that’s 100% true. Hasn’t he been working with Aidy Boothroyd and the U-21s as part of the FA initiative to get more BAME coaches into the game?

I’m not sure whether I want him to fail because he’s a huge berk or succeed because it would prove a lot of people wrong.

He's been doing little bit part jobs for international teams. Personally I wouldn't want a head coach unless they'd had a full time position day in day out for at least a couple of years as an assistant or at youth level or whatever. Coaching is a new skill that you have to learn from scratch.

Having see the way you set your team up to play against the Bees at GP earlier in the season I’m not surprised by your response.
The sooner we can get rid of managers like him and managers with his ethos, the better it will be for English football.
