Yep. I like the guy personally, but he's past his sell-by date, by at least a decade. He's a dinosaur.

Wonder if Roy Keane will be with him too.
You have to admire these guys. They've presumably made a bit of money out of their careers, they can't all have gambled or drunk it away so what is it with always looking for new jobs? Warnock, Hodgson, O'Neill. They're all 60, 70+ why do it? There must be more leisurely, appealing pursuits for the elder gentleman.
Agree with Rebus' (Sir Bobby's) comment about it being like a drug etc.You have to admire these guys. Bound to do the trick - can't imagine why they didn't think of this earlier:
David Wagner: Huddersfield Town manager leaves club by mutual consent

Clever move from Wagner.. keeps his reputation intact and can start looking for a bigger club for next season...

Martin o Neill to become NFFC manager according to Daniel Taylor... Not gone down too well on Twitter..
He's a has been. The Clough-style methods are well and truly over in football in terns of success rate.
Puts the kibosh on the Maupay to Huddersfield rumours then.
He's a dinosaur.
Don’t agree. He’s had a pretty successful managerial career- Leicester, Celtic and Villa. Got sacked at Sunderland before getting the ROI job. Has had criticism in Ireland since he left that job but, in truth, the players he had to work with during his time there were a pretty average bunch and in my view, he achieved as much as he could with them.
He comes across as an extremely nice bloke, both articulate and intelligent. I hope he succeeds at Forest, apart from when they play us.
As for Keane, well, a great player but took a dislike to him after his bust-up with McCarthy in Saipan. Clearly puts himself above anyone else and not a great man-manager.
Bielsa gone?!!!! (Source: bloke in the office.)
Seems it's Spygate:He's called an impromptu press conference for 5pm.
Leeds fans are split over whether that'll be him announcing he's stepping down, or if he's just planning to openly accept questions about and explain spygate.

Jan Siewert appointed Huddersfield manager. Another German. Presumably they are preparing for the Championship next season.
If Huddersfield were planning for life in the Championship wouldn't they have been better off with Wagner?
He decided to leave, rather than being sacked.
I didn’t get the impression he was pushed rather that he decided or agreed with the owner that it was best for him and the club for a change.
Definitely looks like that. Im not a great fan of Huddersfield obviously because of the past but they seem to be a well run club and pretty similar to us.
Still hope they go down with the posh boys up the river. Chuck the colins sheeps banging boyos into that and that will a perfect relegation party for me.
Huddersfield is the only place where I got a real hiding, many years ago at Leeds road ground so hate them.
Same way I see it as well mate. Huddersfield is the only place where I got a real hiding, many years ago at Leeds road ground so hate them.
Have to say I think the owner comes across as decent but still not a Prem club and amazed Cardiff got up in first place.
Was that in the 1977/8 promotion season when Steve Phillips got a hat trick?
My brother went to that and told me all kinds of naughty things were going on.

For me too. I still dislike Huddersfield after they beat us 4-0 at home a few years ago, in what was an otherwise fairly even match. I think Jordan Rhodes got a couple for them.
Yeah very naughty up there back in the day. I remember as a kid going there on the supporters coach and the nutters attacked the coach windows with an axe. Had more than a bit of revenge with them over the years. Lol
I was on the coach that day too... it was a bit scary, they had all sorts of weapons. I remember the axe!! If I remember correctly there were so many broken windows on the coach we had to go to Sheffield station and get a train back.

Thierry Henry sacked by Monaco after 3 months.

Jesus , he's sailed them right up sh*t creek, shame it couldn't have been villa
Steve Evans sacked from Posh horrible piece of work along with his knob of an assistant Paul Raynor
Must have been a falling out ( no surprise ) as they are not badly placed in the league.
Isn't that the story of Peterborough? They started like a train, scored goals for fun but like Reading of 3 years ago their stats and ExG figures were really poor. Now it has all caught up with them and they are treading water at best. Massive expectations for this season too.
