No point asking about having a singing section at away games as people that dont sing go there because they think the atmosphere will be better.

Mark Devlin

.................why does MW wear a suit for some games and casual wear for others............

There's no point asking about having a singing section at away games as Mark Devlin is CEO of Brentford FC and is not going to have any say over other clubs' ticketing and seating policies.

New Road. Teles - great idea. Sunshine - lovely. Teles + sunshine though - bad. Fix?

Im just replying to what other people have asked for. But i suppose if the club had a batch of tickets they could sell to us stating that a certain block are aa singing section.....

Most clubs send a set of 'rules' for how tickets should be sold; neither Mark Devlin nor anyone in our ticket office is not going to know much about the seating layout of another club. The whole thing is pointless. The questions to Mark Devlin will be best if they are relevant to Brentford FC and the majority of its fans, not just Hullbee or any other minor special interest group, hygiene-obsessed or not.

We were asked to provide questions for Mr Devlin which may or may not be used:sorted:

If you dont like the questions asked put your own ones forward and stop moaning about question put forward by others:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Blimey, it's a joke in your case!

Anyway, I'd like to know if there is any justification in spending money at GP in order to increase attendance. And did he take notice of Middlesborough's 'creative' ticketing policy and could we do something similar to increase revenue from away supporters.

Thorne in the Side are soon to do an interview with that QPR Supporting bandit Mark Devlin for our next issue - would really like any supporters that have questions to put to him to either PM us or reply on this thread.
No need. Chris Wickham answers mine for me. :)

1. What is his favourite brand of biscuit?
2. In the 70's children's classic Rainbow did he prefer Bungle or Zippy?
3. Can he lend me a tenner?
4. What is his stance on western military intervention against IS?
5. In his opinion is it ok for fans to remain seated for significant periods of time at away games without being slagged off about it later on?

Mark Devlin

contentious addendum to point 5.

... and not necessarily join in every chant?

Can we find away to let walk up floaters pay on the day? Other wise we're never going to get to 12,000 gates

There were plenty buying tickets for the game on Saturday, they have sold tickets on the day for the last 2 games

From my old seat on the New Road I could often see you kicking every ball whilst standing watching the game by the directors box. How is your footballing ability, and do fancy turning out for the Bees supporters v Ex Bees XI at the end of the season?

What away teams ground and facilities have impressed you this/last season? Asking this with an eye for building Lionel Road? How much input will the fans have?

With Adidas signing up to provide our kits for the next 4 years, is it possible for them to provide replica shirts with built in sponsors logos rather then the shoddy iron on crap currently used? £40+ is an awful lot of money for something that wont survive many washes.

Will the club be investing in improved PA equipment, so that more supporters can hear the announcements and the great work of Mr Gilham?...
It is often unclear or inaudible even in Braemar Road, and I imagine it is far worse in other areas of the ground.

the club have already said no to this because we are moving, i think.

When BFC do a Pay Wot You Can game, why not grab the punters attention at the turnstile
by giving them a 50% off voucher (or similar) for another less popular fixture.

Bingo !!

Mark Devlin

I'd also be interested in an official BFC line on this. I chased TZ recently and they're clearly hiding behind a police investigation which is not being pursued with any urgency.

I sent a final demand (without prejudice) in August and haven't even had the courtesy of a reply...I would be happy to launch a MCOL (money claim on line) but perhaps we'll see what Mr Devlin says when asked about this?

There should be an ability to add money to a membership card/season card - to pay for merchandise or food/drink by tapping the card like an oyster - this should also allow additional entry for matches and get some floaters in - for example if an U18 has a membership card with £12 on it, this should allow them to be able to bring a floating friend on the day without buying a ticket and would solve the issue of tickets not being able to go on general sale - the question is could they implement this?

Mark Devlin

Mr Devlin,
Is the club's onion supplier sourcing their onions from sustainable stocks ?

I reckon we are onto that, once they are on the database the club can do targeted e-mails to those new fans and deals like this can be offered. Its a good idea and will definitely bring some of the "pay what you want newbies" back.

Would you book the same pilot again?

Are Marks and Spencer's slim fit suits better than the tesco's F+F slim fit suits?

What does Mr Devlin get up to on a match day - what is his typical routine?

I would imagine the MD like myself favours regular fit.
Slim fit is for long, lean, mean looking 10 stone teenagers with peaky blinders hair cuts who drink WKD's, fruity Cider or nurse a bottle of becks for ages while standing up and singing nasty songs at the oppo.

Following on from previous questions could the club provide the option to buy from the front or back when buying away tickets? A couple if times I have brought away tickets early and got tickets at the front, I would much prefer to be at the back.

My best mate's rangers & lent me his 4 year plan DVD. As a football fan, it was a good watch. Would love similar insight into Brentford. What did you make of it?

Loved it and what a bunch of loons those Italians were, so glad we have MB and MW rather than the circus clowns destroying their club from the inside.

Can you ask him if he's aware that Dave Whelan once broke his leg playing in the FA cup final

Just stand at the front, it's never a problem

Stupid question. I think you'd remember if some b****** nicked your best player and broke your leg in the FA Cup final .
