Thought he came across excellently.

Feels personally responsible as CEO.
Is the pitch still down and is the game on? Has ROB been asked for his expert opinion on turf?

Has Steve Clarke given the ok yet?
.............but if the team plays on it then it's playable............surely............Give Steve Clarke his due:
if his team loses tomorrow he can tell his directors 'I told you the pitch would be unplayable'!
No lose situation for him.

My god you've waited a while for that quote.![]()

In fairness to him and his sh*t football team, I would have been looking for some positive assurances that the pitch is playable and of no risk to his sh*t players
Feels personally responsible as CEO.
That's a brilliant remark and 'Hat's Off To Marky D' (apologies to Del Shannon) for that one.
'I feel personally responsible' for the uninitiated = 'I'm not responsible at all really but it sounds good and morally correct and I share your pain and furthermore'..........
I wish I had a million quid for every time someone has said to me regarding a cock-up:
'I feel personally responsible'
to which my reply was always:
'You are personally responsible and so am I as your boss so stop feeling it and start knowing it and this is what I'm gonna do.....'
