Mathias Jensen
This was a game for Janelt instead of JDS as we were out powered and out worked in midfield
Josh deserved his start as had scored 2 in 2 and janelt has been out of form recently. This was a game for Janelt instead of JDS as we were out powered and out worked in midfield
I don’t disagree but we had to win the right to play and we got smashed early onJosh deserved his start as had scored 2 in 2 and janelt has been out of form recently.
But in a three man midfield away from home against a team that nearly beat Liverpool at home in their last game we got the tactics wrong and needed a more combative three.Josh deserved his start as had scored 2 in 2 and janelt has been out of form recently.
I think we should of stayed 5 at the back, with Zanka there ahead of roerslevI don’t disagree but we had to win the right to play and we got smashed early on
I agree and tbf to Jensen he deserved his start as well but I agree that away we should of started janelt but who out of Jensen and dasilva would you drop ?But in a three man midfield away from home against a team that nearly beat Liverpool at home in their last game we got the tactics wrong and needed a more combative three.
We shouldn’t have have played both Jensen and Josh as far too few challenges further up the field and we got over run. That wouldn’t have happened with Janelt playing.
Exactly what we thought in our half-time autopsy! This was a game for Janelt instead of JDS as we were out powered and out worked in midfield
We got smashed early on, as Fulham played with an intensity that they couldn’t sustain for more than 25mins. I was very hear the pitch near the technical area, and could see how fast and hard they were working. Also defending Rayas long balls wore them out.I don’t disagree but we had to win the right to play and we got smashed early on
Tough call, maybe Jensen as Josh gives you ability to carry the ball forward at pace but he didn’t do that at all yesterday and seemed to sit deep without getting involvedI

Personally don’t think Janelt will have made much difference as there was just too much space in midfield which was caused by problems across the pitch. We solved it by going 4 in the middle and pushing higher up not by putting a more defensive/aggressive player in there (janelt/Onyeka). However we prob should have done that when Cairney took hold of midfield near the end
Janelt didn’t make much difference to the midfield because when he came on, it was to play right back!
If Kev ever sees this post he ain’t gonna be happy ???????Another assist for the Danish De Bruyne![]()
Not sure I would say he was 'excellent' he was good, unlucky with the chance that hit the post but felt he didn't get into the game in the first half (he was not alone).I thought he was excellent again vs Everton.
Bossed it second half. Not sure I would say he was 'excellent' he was good, unlucky with the chance that hit the post but felt he didn't get into the game in the first half (he was not alone).
Bossed it for 90 minutes. Again.Bossed it second half.
Wasn’t running the show in the first half, but still some excellent passes - and so unlucky to hit the post.
Really don't want to get into another Jensen debate as the result today was not due to Jensen but by noting he 'bossed' it second half means he didn't in the first half and I felt that is where we didn't win the game. We just simply overall/ collectively not good enough in the first half.Bossed it second half.

Welcome to the cult ?Was ok… wasn’t excellent and wasn’t sh1t…just ok…some nice long balls but still doesn’t tackle enough and still needs to move forward with the ball occasionally rather than sideways or back ?? was better than wissa that’s for sure?
Tackles more than most other players in our side (in a sport where tackles are now relatively infrequent), but I realise that this is high praise by your standards so I’ll let that oversight go. ?Was ok… wasn’t excellent and wasn’t sh1t…just ok…some nice long balls but still doesn’t tackle enough and still needs to move forward with the ball occasionally rather than sideways or back ?? was better than wissa that’s for sure?
I'm a little concerned about BFC1997 too.
Nailed on for player of the season if he keeps this form going for the rest of the seasonWas ok… wasn’t excellent and wasn’t sh1t…just ok…some nice long balls but still doesn’t tackle enough and still needs to move forward with the ball occasionally rather than sideways or back ?? was better than wissa that’s for sure?
Would give him the additional protection and energy if Janelt to start the game and then have Josh, one of Wissa and KLP and Damsgaard as closers to take game to opposition in last thirty minutes as they tire. Josh Norgaard and Jensen works with a back five with Josh pushing forward to support front two but leaves us a tad light in midfield in a back four especially at the start of games.Decent performance & grew into the game. As Everton sat back he became more influential in that 'quarterback' role he seems suited to. Don't think a midfield three of him JDS & Norgaard works, much better when we went 3-4-3/5-3-2 with Janelt.
Agree 100% with this.Would give him the additional protection and energy if Janelt to start the game and then have Josh, one of Wissa and KLP and Damsgaard as closers to take game to opposition in last thirty minutes as they tire. Do you sit in N126 mate?A dipstick near me shouted to him to "get off the pitch" twice.
Made no comment when Ivan lost control of the ball and went down on several occasions when he should have stayed on his feet.
Opinions I suppose....but I wish he'd shut the f**k up!
I think that's where @Voice from the Braemar sits ?Do you sit in N126 mate?
I heard the same **** shout it twice as well.
I hope that individual jobs on and boils their head somewhere.
Clueless p***k.
Eh? I thought he got better as the game went on!I’m a fan of MJ and think he is often much maligned. He started well today but then began to fade. Too many over hit passes seemed to knock his confidence. Surprised to see many made him man of the match. I’m sure he’ll have better days.
Yes mate....That's the one then..!Do you sit in N126 mate?
I heard the same **** shout it twice as well.
I hope that individual jogs on and boils their head somewhere.

May be vying for the same international berth. MJ laying down a marker which is just what he needs to do, continue to be a little more ruthless. Not sure if it was my imagination ….. As MJ went over to take the corner that led to our goal, MD went over as well. Jensen had a look of determination, like he was not about to let the young whippersnapper anywhere near the corner. He was going to take responsibility.
Can only be a good thing if MD knows he has to fight for a starting place.
He's certainly become the midfield orchestrator and he works well with Nørgaard, sometimes allowing Christian to get forward. They were our top 2 in tackles yesterday, too. I'd be interest to see the distance covered, too. With Damsgaard easing himself in, we could have a real Ole & Steen tasty midfield.Another good game. He’s looking to have become one of our best pressers of the ball, his set pieces (plus the surprise new long throw) have improved a lot and his composure in shooting too.
We could / should have scored 3 or 4 in the first half!We just simply overall/ collectively not good enough in the first half.
MD mentioned in an interview that when he joined FC Nordsjaelland MJ was one of the players he admired and looked up to so assume that respect still exists. Yet another member of the MJ cult ?Not sure if it was my imagination ….. As MJ went over to take the corner that led to our goal, MD went over as well. Jensen had a look of determination, like he was not about to let the young whippersnapper anywhere near the corner. He was going to take responsibility.

Yep i think that 3 in centre-mid just doesn't work for me, with MJ and JDS both on the powder-puff side of the scale, it makes us a little lightweight overall, i think. Funny thing is though, that was our regular centre-mid trio two years ago, and Jensen was probably the weak link - but now I'd happily stick with Matty and have JDS coming off the bench...Decent performance & grew into the game. As Everton sat back he became more influential in that 'quarterback' role he seems suited to. Don't think a midfield three of him JDS & Norgaard works, much better when we went 3-4-3/5-3-2 with Janelt.
