Michael Kayode

He appears to understand questions in English put to him in live interviews, as I've just watched a (UEFA) post-match presser after scoring the winning goal for Italy's title winning u19 side.

No ear-piece or delay after the question, but answers solely in Italian.

(I suppose that's a good thing for when he personally encounters BCB from PL refs)
Probably speaks English as that's the official language of Nigeria. Id assume this loan with option is an obligation as otherwise not sure how it benefits fiorentina

For those wondering if he'd be ready for Sunday it's confirmed now as a no:

Brentford boss Thomas Frank on Michael Kayode:

"Really like him. Happy that we have signed him to give us more depth in full-back [positions.

"Very talented and fantastic physical package. Very good defensively but of course young. Needs to be developed.

"He will not be able to get that [international clearance] before Sunday [Crystal Palace]."

Very poor in the air, slow, overweight. Some skill, decent shot but too weak. Apparently.
Never had you down as the self depracating type :fishing:

Once AH is fully fit, maybe the plan might be to train him as an understudy to CN (as well as having YK as an option there of course)?
The plan might be to sign a defensive midfielder to understudy CN. That plan would save training costs?.

Although he seems to have lived his entire life in Italy. Maybe his parents helped him to practice English when learning it at school there.

Italians may have corrupted the pronunciation of his surname, but I presume it's the same use of a flat E as in Eberechi's Nigerian surname.

Can anyone confirm if he has a good long throw? Thought I read it somewhere.

Excuse my ignorance, but who is TB at 1:30 in the First 24 Hours video? I have a problem with both names and faces.

Back to topic, I think we've got another one that's going to look like an absolute steal in a year or two.
