I know Thomas likes to ease new signings in gradually but we have 13 games left this season. Realistically we are where we will end up this season so the risks are low. Play him every game from now to see what we have and get him ready to hit the ground running next season.

Ajer really doesn’t deserve to be dropped after a fantastic performance yesterday, but definitely try to give him as many minutes as possible ?

I wouldn't put long term faith in Ajer as good as he was yesterday on one performance. We wouldn't have brought in another right back if so

I know it’s been raised before, but clearly this bloke offers us something we don’t currently have on the right side of defence.
He is on loan.

Let’s see what he can do.
100%. Moyes had clearly decided that Bryan wasn't going to beat them last night. As soon as Kayode came on and bombed up the ring Bryan's markers had something new to think about and he got some space. Should have happened earlier or from the start

Another bright cameo and will likely nail down that right side depending on how well Hickey returns but for me Ajer has been really good recently. We know he's made of glass so won't stay fit for long which will give Kayode his opportunity

wingers will sh*t themselves when they see him charging towards them

I shouldn’t, but his running style does make me laugh
His running style reminds me of a former Brentford player - but I can’t think who at the moment. It will come to me!!

He put in a decent cross last night when it seemed the ball was going out. We may aswell play him as otherwise why loan him in.
Because the intention is to buy him, as it was with Schade who also mainly played as a sub when he joined on loan in the January.

Young player from a different country.

Has to be given a small amount of time to settle in to his new surroundings, get to know his new team mates, understand his role, our style of play.

We could, of course , just chucked him at Right Back on day one and said "There you go son, sink or swim" he would possibly have sunk and everyone would have said "no good, get rid"

After his first venture up the wing he seemed to decide he might as well stay up front. Strikes me as a great disruptor to bring on to try and win a game, but I'd like to see him defending for a bit before deciding whether he should be a starter.

It's the socks worn at half-mast theory.....when he represented Italy U21's he wore them to the knee and his running gait looked standard fare for this level of football.

Can TF get him to play in them at regulation length so we can test this (well researched) theory of mine?

Probably not but is there an argument to pull Ajer over into CB to replace Ethan leaving room for Kayode. I love Ethan but thought he struggled a bit last night

Kanu?

He reminds me of a new excited crazy puppy. He's so cute.

There's an argument for playing Kayode as the starting RB given it's his natural position, but I'm not sure why you would then displace a proven CB in Ethan with an unproven one to accommodate the former.

TF has never selected KA in anything other than a CB3 at this level and the nuances of his game would indicate why.
