Great signing

He made an instant impact which isn't easy for anyone to do let alone a 20yr old lad with limited english in a new country but he's fitted in seamlessly.It won't take long for the other clubs to realise we've pulled yet another rabbit out of our hat.

He has so much potential it's ridiculous.

Obviously fantastic news , can’t remember cult hero status being bestowed quite so quickly !! Gives TF fantastic options at full back , surely Kayode and Hickey are way too good to be fighting over the same shirt so assuming he can regain full fitness I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hickey swap across to LB where he’s played before , albeit Rico may start the season there to allow Hickey further time to get up to speed.
KLP then can be pushed further up the pitch to what still I suspect is his preferred position.
Then it’s a case of whoever has the shirt and is in form keeps it with plenty of options to swap/cover injury.

Well done to the O/S team.

Another permanent addition to the squad whose personality generates the ‘feel good’ factor. I really enjoy seeing the camaraderie between the players and staff which permeates through to the fans and Michael is a great example of this.

He still has a lot to learn playing at the level of the PL, and will make mistakes that affect the outcome of games on occasion (just like every young player does), but he’s young and will develop into an even better player, especially working with our coaching staff.

I don't think this was ever really in doubt but, based on what we were seeing (ie how damn good he is), it is not surprising people were anxious to get it done!

Massive hoorays that is has been and huge plaudits to the recruitment team for unearthing another absolute diamond! :)

Brilliant signing and a great “try before you buy”….. we now have Hickey, Rico, KLP and Kayode as our full back options (with Ajer as well). Just a thought but I wonder if it potentially allows the option of playing Hickey in midfield which has been suggested before? May help solve a little bit of a gap here.

I don’t think your post will make you unpopular. It just places you very much in the minority. MK has made a great start with us. Skilful, a hard worker and a great attitude.

Liverpool sign Frimpong for 29m while we get Kayode for something like 16m?
Another jesus play by our recruitment team. Frimpong is good but he has same lapses as Trent does in depending. Argument there to say Kayode will reach higher levels

Unless Slot has a damascene moment and changes to 3-4-2-1 and plays him as the RWB, he'll be playing RB in a 4 this season.

Will he really want to play him as an inverted left winger, a position Frimpong has never played in before?
