Indeed, just been around my Dads and he's got his pack through. Gutted about the fact that he can't make Southport as it's the only new ground and the dream ticket for a four day cricket/drinking bender. He does like to book holidays a year in advance though to save a few quid on flights.

[amersfoort bee]

Doing OK v the MCC today but the bowling (missing our top four bowlers) seems to be doing better than the batters (with pretty much a full line up).

Hope the batters come good tomorrow.

[amersfoort bee]

The batsmen came good to give us a one wicket victory.

On to defend the title now.

Started this season how we finished last, with an exciting victory.

[Holysmit]

what is it about Hat Tricks and Middlesex matches?

[amersfoort bee]

what is it about Hat Tricks and Middlesex matches?

I don't know. What is it?

[badgerbee]

Shot in the dark; but I'm going with: "Sometimes they happen in games when Middx are involved".........

[Holysmit]

Shot in the dark; but I'm going with: "Sometimes they happen in games when Middx are involved".........

3 in under a calendar year, where they didnt play for half of it, is an obscene amount of hat tricks given their rareity.

[aawharris]

Not Middlesex admittedly, but got a nice surprise this morning, a Hampshire premium membership pack popped through my letterbox, totally free (and unexpected) due to being a coach for the county.
Get into any game free, roof terrace, the lot.
Bit of a bonus!

[TW3Bee]

Do MCCC still do their Country Memberships?

You used to be able to get cheaper memberships if you lived outside of Middlesex.

[GP200]

..............friendly at Merchant Taylors against Durham.Durham bowled out for 306.............

What's the point of that?

[GP200]

.............392 all out at the Fenners ,a century to Malan and fifties for Simpson and Toby............

[amersfoort bee]

An amazing number of overs bowled today.

Why can't we have that number in all first class matches?

[TW3Bee]

Camb Uni 7-2 in reply.

[GP200]

.............Camb Uni end the day 65-4,379 behind............

Good start from Eskinazi 82 in the first innings folowed by 45 in the second, but as I said earlier really need to go on and get 100.
