Not always easy to tell what's been happened. Has it been merged with the John Terry thread? The mod who did it will have to confirm.

That's what I thought might have happened but my post isn't there and it certainly didn't break the CoC so I'm somewhat confused. :confused:

Thanks for that Aussie Bee. A real rogues gallery isn't it? So CBU appears to be the only Moderator. The others are either Administrators or Super Moderators! That's wrong surely? Shabby treatment. He deserves better :yes:.

My powers are divinely granted rather than the 'technical' abilities granted to the various IT monkeys I use to actually run the place.

There is also of course the 100% likelihood that if I could modify peoples posts and infract them then the next time I had a few wine gums I would infract and ban everyone.

CBU only has moderator rights to one tiny portion of the SS.GPG - one forum.

To say "I am driving the bus" is very misleading to the rest of the crew.

And why is "newsbot" a super moderator? lol

A mods life is not easy - Give em a break eh?

They are all trying to do the best thing - they make mistakes ok?

but if threads are merged as it appears in this case they should leave the original post for a few days before being deleted straight away - with a link to the merged thread - thats not hard - and its also polite to the people that keep this website going

I think the old bats are quite right, myself, even if they do get a bit shouty. When there is an element of wit involved, then people can get away with a bit of genocidal views_ I loved the Terry's Cadbury's quip. It's a sad reflection though, on our fellowship, that there appears to be no Brighton awayday thread, especially as I'm going. Could it be for a similar reason? I can only assume so. My mate bought the tickets online from BFC and was told he could pick them up from the ground. Now he wants to know if they mean Withdean or GP. Either will do, but not both.
Also, while we are on it, I noticed that the GPG seems to have exited the debate on another recent event. My congratulations. Let no one accuse the GPG accuse of facilitating the totally unedifying views of obsessive, puerile and incontinent dickheads especially after they are reminded that such a forum could be an interference with a prosecution. I sometimes, no always think that these loud lynch mobs, protest to strong, and contain more child abusers than they should.
