Mobile Users - PLEASE READ

Can someone tell me how to go straight to the last post you read on the GPG default (desktop mode)? On the mobile mode if I click on the title of the thread its jumps straight to the final post, if I do the same on Default mode it takes me to page 1 of that particular thread. Any ideas?

Click on the small icon just before (to the left of) the thread title.

I liked the old style - was simpler and felt more unique and less like other forums.

Same reason I prefer GP to the plans for Lionel Road. It's needed but it's no better.

A new feature - a "hot" thread determined by surpassing a certain number of threads or views.

At the bottom of each forum, there's an 'icon legend' to explain what each feature means. On GPG default anyway.

Works now you've moved the button, the problem has moved to the Friends button. Something odd with that part of the screen?

I've worked out what's happening - if you "miss" the hyperlink, it clicks the search button instead.

On my I Pad since last night I have lost the original Home Page set up where the
top of the page had the Grapevine Set Up
Lost option of What's New
Left hand side of the page was the list of threads

Are you thinking you're using the the old style (i.e the one from over a week ago)? If so, this has been replaced by a new layout. In the new layout, the What's New option is now a button at the top of the screen (4th from the right with an image that looks like connected globes).

Sorry if I've missed the answer or if I'm being daft but, for instance when I open the 'Bees Overseas' forum I can only see the sticky thread. How do I get to see older threads?

Bottom left hand side of screen. Change "Show Threads from" to "Beginning"

Hi - to access all threads on the mobile site, you need to get to the Forum Home which can be accessed by pressing the BFC badge in the header. This will give you a list of all sub forums - selecting any one of those will give you all the threads in that forum. is that what you're looking for?

If it's not, make sure you're signed in - if you are just viewing as a guest, there's a limitation on what will be displayed.

That's the only way you can do it, AFAIK. Even the old gpg mobile was the same.

Yes that does make sense. I'm afraid that you won't be able to do it on the mobile version and I'm fairly sure that you wouldn't have been able to on the old one. The software we use is not really aimed at the mobile platform so a lot of features either built in or developed by third parties don't port across to the mobile site.

You could try downloading the Tapatalk app and viewing using that - that is specifically designed as a forum reader mobile app so will be more feature rich.

One improvement I've noticed is when you switch to full site on your mobile it keeps you on the page you're on rather than defaulting back to the home page. Much easier for liking posts.

Yes, if you try and press the what's new button inside the three dot menu the button doesn't work it just presses search. Not a problem now you've also added it to the top bar.
