Who won? I watched Harrow Boro a couple of weeks ago. Pretty tidy side.

I went to see Wingate & Finchley today as my first love, Fulham weren’t playing.

Nathan Elder was a sub for Tonbridge Angels. He’s a very big guy, massively strong but very softly spoken and intelligent and we had a chat as he warmed up.

He works in the city in recruitment and seems happy with his lot.

He still has not recovered full vision after that horrendous injury at Rotherham and Pablo Mills never apologised.

That really finished his league career but he has fond memories about Brentford and is phlegmatic about what happened to him and how quickly things changed for him.

We talked about his two sendings off and he admitted he got frustrated at Gillingham and fully deserved a red card for defending Marvin Williams.

As for Notts County he says he went up for the header and never knew the defender was there and the ref had a great view but still sent him off.

Nice guy.

We spoke about Bournemouth and he laughed at the memory of that great afternoon and his cheerleading.

Me and my Dad were also at the Wingate and Finchley game last Saturday.

Amazed we didn't see you considering the crowd was only 131.

Nathan Elder

Yep, really nice, down to earth guy and true pro.
Always had time for the fans and took the time to get to know you also.

Bournemouth was quality, great memories.

Remember seeing and chatting to him in Liquid night club once, noticed him chilling around the perimeter with his bottle of champs and bucket of ice lol

Remember all three incidents, but that Pablo Mills one was a real shocker.
Didn't Nathan lose sight in one of his eyes, as well as a fractured cheekbone ?

He has blurred vision in his left eye and I think temporarily lost his sight. Frankly he never totally recovered from the clash.

I was near the dugouts in the first half and wandered over the other side in the second half.

Always assured of a welcoming reception at GP or LR.

Appointed assistant manager at Sittingbourne, good luck Nath, a good honest pro in his time here

If I remember rightly the Bradford centre half had just told Nathan that he’d had him in his pocket all game. Brilliant to then respond with the winner in that fashion.
