Looking forward to tonights game as the Pats clicked into gear last week but this week face a very tough Panthers D
Last night's late game was a cracking hard game with the Broncos joining the Chiefs on 9-1. Chiefs managed to hold the Broncos to their lowest score this season. However, the Broncos D stepped up and the Chiefs lack of firepower was once again evident. No matter how tough their D is, they need to be able to put points on the board in the big matches and last night, despite holding Broncos to their lowest score, they would have needed to get their 2nd highest score of the season to win (31 being their highest !!!). Next up for the Broncos, away to the Pats and then the rematch with the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Two must see games.
So where are we with Week 11 almost over.
in the AFC, Pats, Bungles and Colts seem to have their post-season spots wrapped up as much to do with their division rivals being poor as them being especially goodalthough in fairness to the Pats, their injury list is clearing up and they will be a big threat. AFC West is still the cliff-hanger although Broncos obvious favourites. Which means the Chiefs/Broncos will be #5 seeds and then it's up for grabs for the last play-off spot with poor sides. the Fins & Jets leading the race at 5-5 with the poor or poorer Bills, Steelers, Ravens, Browns, Titans, Raiders & Chargers all one game behind.
in the NFC, Seahawks are the only team so far you would say have their division in the bag. Big game for the Panthers tonight and if they fail, you've got to say Saints should be good for the South. As for the East and North, I haven't a clue. In the North, the Lions slipped up last night but with the Pack and the Bears both having QB problems. who knows what's going to happen. Pack really need Rodgers back asap otherwise I think they're going to blow it. The East, Eagles in the driving seat now but wouldn't trust any team in that division. Having said that, on their day, any team in that division could beat anyone.. well, maybe
So as for predictions. I'd like to see the Saints win the NFC but I just feel Seahawks will be #1 seeds and home advantage might see them home. Heart obviously with the Broncos for the AFC but I have a horrible feeling that Brady and his recovering corps are going to sneak it. So, week 11 and i'm going for Seahawks v Pats Superbowl
