When I recently brought Little UB to Griffin Park, he asked AS for an autograph and AS spent 5 minutes talking to him and invited him to see the training ground to see the team train.

That made a fantastic lasting impression on my lad!

I say to all the moaners....let's get behind AS and the team, we are only 5 points off the play offs and May is more than 5 months away so there's plenty of time to achieve our goals!

Some of the best football I've ever seen at GP was under Fred Callaghan :shrug:.

Maybe I'm getting confused. The team that's been listed above was a truly stonking team.

I definitely recall a series of appalling matches when the large numbers of our crowd were singing We're so bad it's unbelievable, cheering the other team and basically abusing our side. It was when Tom Finney was playing for us iirc. Perhaps it wasn't under FC at all, but who could it have been?

It sounds like old guff but I'm so glad to have watched these people do their stuff.

Hurlock went onto the top league as did Kamara (Maybe Championship), Roberts would easily have progressed bar injury and Bowles was ex-England one of the best and most entertaining players we have ever produced.

I knew they were good at the time but feck me, the history sinece has proved that.

Not a great performance but three points against a crap team - a rarity this season. We've only seemed to pick up points from decent sides so this is an encouraging breakthrough .
