This wasn't on last week as an extra round of German football fixtures that needed to be squeezed in, but we're back this week with a classic contractual obligation edition as Mooro eschews the glamour of Highbury and Stamford Bridge for a trip to Griffin Park, Brentford, to see them play Watford, though at least the Bees and the Hornets - the insect derby! - are suitably spurred on by the presence of the cameras to serve up a goalfest.

There is a popular GPG myth that some supporters (myself included) are only happy when they have something to moan about. They want to see Clayton hit row Z and want Brentford to lose so that they can have a good old rant.

This is of course utter bollox. Some are simply more outspoken that others and are less philosophical about life when Clayton is troubling the driver of a 65 and the Bees are are getting stuffed at home to Yeovil.

I thought that the last three games would define whether we were promotion candidates or mid-table fodder. My thinking was that we might draw each game. Perfectly respectable, but perhaps not enough to suggest that we are real contenders.

It's official - we are real contenders and far from wanting something to moan about, I couldn't be happier .
