I've just worked out our average home league gate so far.
For all the misery guts who think it's somewhere down around 4,200 like I did, you couldn't be more wrong.
It's 5,610 which is actually far better than I thought.

Yeah but when 26 turn up next Saturday the average is going to take a bit of a hammering.

We all moan about Brentford FC but.......

Most of us come on here and have our moans about the Board,Team,Team Manager,Stewards and just about every thing else connected with the Club and justifiably so in most cases, but how many Football League Clubs would welcome you go to the Training Ground for a chat with the players and Manager,have an Old George to make a cup of tea for you. Or could you send an email and have Birthdays and Anniversarys put both in the Matchday programme and announced on the tannoy.Or have a Peter Gilham to answer queries for you.
Brentford is a great community Club which is not stuck up it's own a**e .Times are hard at the moment but let's not lose sight of some of the things they do for the fans.So let's all get behind them in their time of need.

We are going down..no question.

It is up to us to make sure, by hook or by crook, that we let the club know how we feel and that we will NOT allow this club to slip out of professional football. Whatever it takes we will do, kick out the manager, kick out the joker dickens, kick out whoever we need to and make sure this trend is reversed. It can not be allowed to happen.

The only reason next Saturday's attendance will be about 3,500 is because it clashes with the Boat Race and we have an historical link with rowing. No other reason need be considered.

I have been to Boston, went to a conference at MIT, took a duck tour down the Charles River, purchased some shoes at Florsheims, dined at Legal Seafood (yum) - oh not that one, the fourth division football ground, no, I'm positive I've never been there.

Just had a vision

Greg Dyke takes over as manager in the summer, "invests" a lot of money on coaching staff and players, most on weekly wages of £7k but we dont care because we will get promoted from the bottom division. Dyke is hailed as the pink haired one and we all go to MK Dons last game of the season to win the division with pink haired wigs.
The following season we are beaten by Bedfont in the FA cup and Dyke resigns but he of course has gifted us a team and a club to be proud of........

the pitch looks lovely and the goal areas and wings look particularly lush and green..almost like they've not been used that much......
