I'm sure those who scout opposition fans views are wise enough to ignore those who seem unreasonable. It's not hard to identify the more well reasoned posts.

Anyway I agree with Rasmus, fans are invaluable in providing information. We've effectively scouted all of Brentford's players from the moment they've signed, and openly provide our opinions here. Same goes for other fans. You'd be a fool to ignore a resource like that.

(P.S. I've never understood why people jump on Magicbees back. So what if he's asking for a new striker or not. It's not unreasonable to want a deeper squad even if I prefer a slightly leaner one).

All feedback has a value. However folk who engage in social media tend to be the most committed to the cause in question. The silent majority is where the answer lies. They dont feel strongly enough to engage like we do but they may be as knowledgeable as we think we are.
It's why opinion polls are cocking up regularly. They tend to use IT to garner views but the folk who engage in IT surveys tend to be politically committed and lean predominantly in a particular direction.
I suggest they simply consult me. I have a tick list for each position and it's always right
